One side shows off the classic shell pattern, while the other has the signature bump. The bump is an indication of a well-made madeleine, since it forms when the chilled batter hits a hot oven and rises quickly!

This past weekend, we had our very first market in Minneapolis, MN… and it was a success!

Our home bakery has always been known for our cakes and cupcakes, but with the summer heat, we decided to launch our madeleines and cookies instead. And honestly… we had no idea you guys would love them this much!

Throughout the day, customers came back to tell us how much they loved our cookies, how unique our madeleine flavors were, and how cute the setup was haha.

This event was such a special milestone for our little home bakery. It opened so many exciting doors for the future, and I’m beyond grateful for everyone who stopped by, supported us, purchased a treat, exchanged business cards, or simply took the time to chat.

A few highlights from the day:

• Our #1 bestseller was the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookie with homemade toffee!

• Customers came back to tell us our cookies were some of the best they’ve ever tried!!

• A customer who had just started baking even gifted me one of their own cookies to try. Such a sweet moment.

• Many loved the different flavors we had for our madeleines!

Thank you all so much for making our first market one to remember. This is only the beginning for A M I R A, and I can’t wait to share what’s next. 🤍 by @sweets.by.amira
