They say you never truly leave the places that changed you, and standing here today, I know that’s true💜 My heart is overflowing with gratitude as I return to Sunset High School—not just as an alumna, but as the Director of the Bisonettes and Bison Belle’s. This is the very floor where I first fell in love with dance, and it is the place that shaped the woman and educator I am today.

My first year of teaching was a life-altering gift, but there is a special kind of magic in coming back to your roots. To my family, my mentors, and the friends who have been my backbone: thank you for believing in me when this was just a dream. To my dancers: I was once exactly where you are, and I promise to pour every bit of that passion back into you. I am home, I am grateful, and I can’t wait to begin this beautiful new chapter together. by @swiftielizette

Forever grateful. In what feels like the blink of an eye, four seasons have flown by with my favorite people. Being captain of this team has truly been one of the greatest blessings ❤️‍🔥 by @swiftielizette

Some mornings leave your heart completely full. Had the absolute joy of teaching at the Cardette clinic today. Watching these ladies shine was the perfect reminder of why I love what I do. So proud of you all! 🤟🏽❤️ by @swiftielizette

Before this week ends, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Reflecting on the end of my very first year of teaching fills me with so much emotion as I prepare to move up to high school. I am beyond blessed to do what I love every single day, completely surrounded and supported by an incredible community. This job is truly life changing and one of a kind. I am also deeply thankful for the amazing coworkers I now get to call lifelong friends. 🩰🪩 by @swiftielizette
