She’s Back!!! Cannes 2026. The body was tired but with a strong partner anything is possible @aamandanilson . We had a super fun day of racing. Now the season is done and it’s time for a good rest for me. Amazing weekend away with the family here. . Hats off to @otillorace for another amazing season of unforgettable races. Thank you for driving the sport forward. . @arksportsinc @maurten_official by @swimrun_world
-ÖtillÖ 2026- As always nervous start, wondering how the day will play out, how the body will respond. We had decided before the race to just race our own race and if we were leading never look back. The pace was fast early even in the tough conditions with a constant head wind. Team Kebab pushed the pace on Runmarö the first longer run of the day, we kept to our pace and focused on keeping it smooth. Before we knew it the gap opened but when you race with Hugo this doesn’t mean the pace slows. I was enjoying the race and handling the pace until we hit Örnö, then I was done. If this wasn’t a team sport I would still be sitting somewhere in the forest on Örnö, but as luck would have it I had the strongest partner there is! On with the lina and he dragged me across Örnö, I was completely out on my feet, my vision had become blurry and my hands and feet tingling, I remember seeing Lovisa and wanting to say hi, but I had no energy even for that. I just had to keep running as fast as I could, now the whole body was screaming in pain. The last few short runs and swims were just stumbling over rocks and then came Utö, back on with the lina and gritting the teeth. I had given my Max Effort. Then we were home, and the emotions came of our best mate who had been with us every step of the way. When I look up I hope you are looking down. I can’t thank Hugo enough for doing this with me, without a doubt the best the sport has ever seen. To ÖtillÖ, volunteers, and everyone racing- thank you. Together you make this a special event and even more a special community. @crafstedt ❤️ by @swimrun_world

❤️ 📸 @adaaxe by @swimrun_world

Magical day, @skatassjoar first racing with @crafstedt and our 2 girls. So special to share the race with my family ❤️ . Then straight into a great race with @olandswimrun we’ve both raced and trained on these trails 100’s of times so it was nice to just enjoy the beautiful forest and amazing trails. Viktor lead the way, setting a super fast pace on the trails and it was just to do my best to keep up. Absolute pleasure to race together finally after so many years. . I’ve said this 100 times but you have to try this race, bring the family, it’s got it all. Great organisation and best trails. . #swimrun @maurten_official @arksportsinc by @swimrun_world

I’ve received a lot of questions about OWR this year and why we won’t be on the start line. Every year, our team has had something to race for. At first, it was simply to prove it was possible. Then it became proving we could do it twice. After that, discovering just how fast we could go. Through it all, one thing has never changed… our love for racing together, pushing ourselves over long distances, and sharing the journey as a team. This year, unfortunately, after a long winter and spring of training and preparation, the organisers were forced to remove almost all of the prize money and have decided to shorten the race time. It’s difficult to put into words how we feel because we truly love this race. Our decision is not just about the money, but it would be dishonest to say it doesn’t matter. OWR is an expensive race in every sense of the word. There are the financial costs: entry fees, equipment, travel, and months of training. There’s the physical cost too. We’ve often crossed the finish line carrying injuries or completely worn down, knowing the risks are part of what makes the race so demanding. There’s also the cost of time: the training load, balancing work, and constantly trying to fit everything else in around the race. But the greatest cost is the one paid by our families. They are the ones who sacrifice the most. Summer holidays planned around one race. Tired parents after early mornings and late nights. Missing slow breakfasts together. Weekends spent away training. Babysitters. Countless little moments given up so we can chase something we love. The list is endless, and we could never have done any of this without them. Over the last four years, this race has given us opportunities we never imagined, friendships, unforgettable memories, and experiences that will stay with us for life. We are incredibly grateful to Thomas and the entire @onewaterrace team for everything they have done and for the journey we’ve been fortunate enough to be part of. We sincerely hope this isn’t goodbye, just see you later. We hope to be back on the start line in 2027. (Continue in comments, sorry it’s long) by @swimrun_world
Super fun day @sjoloppet with the super strong @danieladamsray he set the pace and I just followed. Nice to both be in the same space with good chat and smooth racing the whole way. . Put this race on your bucket list, Dick and the team do an amazing job, volunteers everywhere, perfect course marking and a great start and finish area. Lots of races for all levels and kids. . @vjsportshoes @arksportsinc @maurten_official @propudglobal by @swimrun_world
