Side quested so hard I got to meet Ms. Don’t call me sweetheart, Ms. DOD Queen, Ms. No swing tips please, Ms. Swinter!!

@saramwinter put on a range day for just the girlies and it was everything I could have wanted and more at a ladies event!

First one to do the closest to the pin challenge, made some new golf girlfriends, picked Sara’s thoughts on last year’s Internet invitational 👀👀 and won Miss Best Energy🥹

Thank you for investing so much into women’s golf. I can’t wait to continue to take up space !

What a day🤗🤗

Community Spotlight ⭐️ Sammie Asfaw

I’ve been following Sammie on Instagram since she attended our June 7th event, and if you thought I was golf obsessed… let me introduce you to Sammie! This gal is always at the course, working on her game whether she’s playing with the guys or her group of ladies. She’s constantly out on the green (sometimes even doubling up rounds when she can!).

From mowing the fairways at Tor Hill/Murray as a maintenance worker to swinging clubs on them, Sammie went from fighting the idea of golf tooth and nail to being certifiably obsessed. 🏌️‍♀️

Here’s what Sammie has to say!

One day a friend convinced me to try golf as it was something we could do to enjoy more time together and also spend more time outdoors. Cut to now—I’m certifiably obsessed with the sport.

Something about me you might be surprised by? Golf-related, I’d rather say “sugarsnicklefrits” after a bad shot than drop the f-bomb. Non-golf-related, I would rather wake up at 6 a.m. than sleep in until 9 a.m.

The most rewarding part of learning golf has been that the learning never stops, the community of golfers (shoutout women golfers!), and the boost of confidence golfing has given me. There’s nothing like hitting your purest shot to really appreciate your athleticism.

A goal I’m working on this summer was to shoot under 90, and I’ve hit that quite a bit already! New goal for the rest of the season is 85 or lower. Oh, and a hole-in-one wouldn’t be the worst thing either.

My favourite clubs in the bag right now are driver, 6-hybrid, and putter! All have been hot lately and have saved my score.

When thinking about what golf has taught me that translates off the course, there is so much! A big one is patience, and also that you are never too old to start a new hobby. by @swinginwithsammie

2023 vs 2026; Little swing progression video for y’all!
Same hole but significantly different, and better, swing!

*shoutout my girl, Zo, for getting all my good angles😂

Still thankful for the small piece of the internet y’all have found me on!!
2K is closing in!!! Would it be crazy to hope for 5k by the end of 2026??🤔

Golf really said you can’t have all your skills working at the same time. 😂

One of the most frustrating things about my game is how inconsistent it can be!! Two clean bunker shots in two different rounds, and then the third round I’m sending one flying over the green and straight into the trees. 👋😂

Just when I think I’ve figured this game out…

One of the best things about golf is getting to have fun with the uniform!😉

Calling all brands ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Consider this your sign to collaborate with a girl who will absolutely make content about it. 💌✨

Chapter 32 is all about chasing the dream, trying new things, creating more, and turning the things I love into opportunities. From golf courses to airport gates to the gym, I’m ready to see where this little creator journey takes me. ⛳️✈️🤍🎂

Brands, my DMs are open. Let’s make something fun! 🥂

✨She’s a golfer✨
I think the best thing (besides winning) of playing in a tournament is getting to look at the gallery of action shots.

Shoutout @jessegodinmovement for these incredible pictures from the Moose Jaw @onthegreen.sk event💚

Can’t wait for another yeah watching more and more women grow into confident players all thanks to Amanda and the company she built!

POV: Your family reunion is just a group lesson in how NOT to play golf. 💀

32. 🥂⛳️
A year older, but mostly just grateful. Grateful for every course I’ve played, every person I’ve met, every unexpected opportunity, every lesson, and every version of myself that got me here.
I don’t know exactly where this next year is taking me — but I know I want to enjoy the hell out of the ride. 🤍

✨Mountain golf but at the Sims ✨
Wasn’t able to get out to @greywolfgolfcourse this summer so figured I’d get my practice in now to prepare for next year !

Don’t you just love it when the clubs do what they are supposed to do?? Hit that 6H sooo pure and left myself a great birdie op!

It’s been a little quiet over here, but golf is still very much on my mind!

I recently got to check out the soft opening of Infinite Golf in Regina. Always exciting to see more opportunities to keep golfing, especially now that outdoor season has come to an end.

The team gave me a discount code to share with the On the Green community!

Use AMANDA10 for 10% off your booking until November 30th.

Whether you’re looking to keep your swing going through the winter or just want to get out and golf with friends, it’s another local option worth checking out.
