thank you so much to everyone who came by and supported this past weekend at the @sdzinefest !!!! 💖💖

this was my first art event, and first time selling my art physically 🫣. it was such an AMAZING experience, and i had so so so much fun meeting everyone!!! i create my art to connect with others, and to illustrate the more unsaid thoughts/feelings of the human experience (from mental health to just the vast concept of identity), so it was like a dream come true to talk and connect with everyone who was able to resonate with my creations. 🫶

and extra special thank you to @delightful.horror & @junky.joa ( @thy.junkdrawer ) for tabling with me and being there throughout!! it was so fun reconnecting, and we gotta do more events like this together in the future LOL. (zine collabs… perhaps… 👀) 💖

omg if we spoke, PLEASE reach out!! there’s a handful of you i forgot to get socials from aghhh 😭😭

I honestly just wanted to draw Viktor playing those ASMR Tower roblox games before bed 💆‍♂️

Jayce comes into bed a little later and watches him play till he falls asleep on his shoulder 😋

EDIT: also omg hi y’all should add me on roblox xd @ vikpurr

“A Eulogy To My Guardian Angel” a mini zine/comic about religious trauma 🕊️

⚠️ cw/tw: implied csa, sa ⚠️

A small collection of the personal works I’ve done that follow the theme of religious trauma. I often do some idk poetry?? creative writing in the captions of these pieces, so I thought why not put them all together with some lil spot arts hehe.

There’s a lot of shame of delving into the darker experiences of being raised in church, as it’s something you’re taught to not talk about, forgive and forget, etc. These works are my personal strives at unlearning that shame and allowing myself the space to be open about my experiences and true opinions/thoughts on the matter without being suppressed/censored, either by my self or others.

(Any preachy comments will be immediately deleted, so don’t waste your time.)

As with all my mini zines, if you’d like a physical copy of this it will be part of my stock at all events I table at! I also plan to list it on my Etsy very soon. 🫶

Put together a lil collection of impactful media from my childhood to now that inspired how I’ve come to view and feel comfortable in my gender identity 🙂‍↕️

Debuted this as a mini zine over the weekend at Compressed and loved getting to talk to everyone who picked it up and related to some of the refs in it !!!

Feel free to share your own formative media that left its mark on your identity ~ It’s very fun getting to hear everyone’s origins hehe 🩷🩵🤍
