A morning that started slow turned into something only God could’ve written!

Watching three gobblers work down the mountainside behind three hens, never breaking strut, the sun showing off just how beautiful these bird are, it truly felt unreal. Everything just unfolded perfectly right in front of us.

Sailor and I were fortunate enough to double!! and I’ll always be grateful for that unforgettable moment!!

Just really thankful for it all. God is Good! 🦃🤍 by @sydneyallicole

Every trip to Mexico makes it a little harder to leave. ❤️🦃

This one had it all, early mornings chasing turkeys, slow sunsets, the best of friends, and the kind of memories you tell on repeat for years to come!

The people, the culture, the laughs… it all just felt easy in the best way. Grateful doesn’t even cover it.

See you soon Mexico🇲🇽✨ by @sydneyallicole

If you had asked me a year ago, I never would’ve thought that I would have gotten the opportunity to harvest not only one, but two beautiful subspecies of wild turkeys in Mexico! During my first trip, I got to harvest a beautiful ocellated turkey and now, I found myself lucky enough to catch up with a Gould’s. Both hunts within a month of each other!!

A huge thank you to @diegoolaguibel at @yukkutzhunting for putting this opportunity in front of me!! I have never been so grateful!!

And thank you to my Best Friend @themaggiewilliams for being someone I am proud to look up to in hunting.

Still soaking it all in, what an unreal month and experience I’ll never forget… I can’t wait to see what else the Good Lord has in store for me! ❤️🇲🇽🦃 by @sydneyallicole

I am so grateful that I get to live the life I do!

I got to watch @themaggiewilliams shoot her turkey on Saturday afternoon which was such a special experience to be apart of! And I’m blessed enough to say that I got one of my own Sunday afternoon!

And it’s not every day the world’s best yelper calls you in a longbeard… grateful is an understatement.
Thank you @hunterwallis for making it happen!

Huge thank you to our friends for allowing us to come hunt their property and giving us the opportunity… it means more than we can say.

All the glory to God for moments like these, for keeping us safe, for the opportunities we’re given, and for letting us do what we love. Truly grateful for it all. ✨

On to the next 🦃🤍 by @sydneyallicole

Forever thankful that I get to live a life that keeps me on my toes🩷 by @sydneyallicole

One of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced.

Big thank you to @yukkutzhunting for giving me the opportunity to shoot my ocellated turkey!

And a big thank you to @themaggiewilliams for bringing me along on this trip and being the best friend to share it with.

We got out to our hunting spot around 5:00 that morning and got set up while it was still dark. As the sun started to come up, we waited and watched the tree line.

Around 7:30 the turkeys finally started showing up, flying into the field over the trees. For about 10 minutes it was just bird after bird coming in. Before long there were probably close to 100 birds on the ground.

We started calling them in closer, and all of a sudden they flew about 10 feet right in front of us. I pulled up my gun but couldn’t get a clean shot at the bird I wanted because there were so many birds packed in around him.

Then they started to drift off, and I honestly thought my chance was gone and I wasn’t going to get a turkey that day.

My guide and I sat there and prayed for the turkeys to come back… and THEY DID.

A little while later they came back into range. I picked out the bird I wanted at about 30 yards and squeezed the trigger.

Next thing I knew, the Lord had blessed me with a beautiful bird.

This is a hunt I’ll always be thankful for. Here’s to many more — next stop: Florida 🦃 by @sydneyallicole
