Meet Sydney! Amazone in Aries ♈️!

State Wrestling Champion, Sports Model & Nonprofit Founder for Women

Sydney has Amazone in Aries — she is a torch carrier, born to go first. Her Amazone sits in the 4th House, a Cancer house, making her a fierce champion for girls and women.

Sydney was the first girl to join an all-boys wrestling team in high school. The coach agreed to let her on the team, but he let her know he would not go easy on her - he would treat her like the boys. She said. “Bring it on.” After one grueling week, her courage inspired six other girls to join her. All seven earned spots on the varsity lineup, and Sydney went on to become #1 in the State of Oregon in her weight class.

And that same year? She was crowned Homecoming Queen. 👑🔥 That is the Amazon — Wild, beautiful, fearless and free.

Sydney went on to wrestle collegiately, become a coach, help establish women’s wrestling programs, and found You Got It Girl® (YGIG), a movement dedicated to empowering women and girls in sports, a nonprofit helping girls who cannot afford to participate in team sports, because she knows that one opportunity can change a life.

“When one person lives outside their comfort zone, it can create a movement.” ~ Sydney Norvell Cosner

Sydney uses her spear as a torch, illuminating the way and opening doors for other girls to follow. 🔥🏹🔥

We just received a generous donation to the YGIG – YOU GOT IT GIRL Scholarship Fund. This incredible gift is a huge kickstart and means we’ll be able to launch our 5th YGIG Scholarship, helping another female athlete pursue her dreams in sports. If you would like to contribute directly please see the link in bio or see the link down below.

For so many athletes, scholarships are the reason they’re able to continue competing. While some NCAA divisions offer athletic scholarships, many athletes compete in divisions that don’t, or receive only partial funding. Countless female athletes rely on academic scholarships or smaller awards to help cover the cost of tuition, travel, equipment, housing, and other expenses- if they even qualify for them.

Our scholarship exists to help athletes overcome the financial, personal, and physical hardships that can stand in the way of their dreams. Whether they’re working through an injury, facing unexpected financial challenges, or simply doing everything they can to stay in the game, we want them to know someone believes in them.

This is exactly why YGIG was created. Every scholarship represents another athlete who gets the opportunity to keep chasing the sport she loves.

Thank you to everyone who supports this mission. Every purchase, every share, every donation, and every word of encouragement helps us create more opportunities for female athletes.

If you would like to contribute directly to our scholarship fund to kickstart our 5th scholarship please do so here or the link in bio:
