Perhaps you know what I mean when there’s a tension with someone. That subtle (or not so subtle) strange energy... The half-conversation. The discomfort you can’t quite name. Something’s off. Are we okay? Maybe you said “yes” when you meant “maybe.” Maybe they withdrew and you pretended not to notice. So you keep moving, pretending it’s fine… What you don’t say doesn’t go away. It lodges itself in the space between you and builds. It shapes how open you feel, how safe you are to be yourself. And it’s not what supports great intimacy, great relationships, great families, great business or great communities. Instead, reveal yourself. Even if it’s messy. Even if you don’t have the words yet… Because connection can only meet you where you are. And if you’re hiding — even a little — so is your intimacy. And with this, I want to share with you…. 7 keys to deeper intimacy through revealing your truth. Link in Bio 📸 von mir @traumfaengerin.pictures by @sylvicares
Temenos is for those who have felt a crack. The Greek word comes from temnein, to cut. A temenos was a piece of land cut out from ordinary use and given to the gods. For seven days we live inside such a cut: a mythic field where meals, sleep, movement and dreams all belong to the journey. The myth is not performed for you. You enter it, and it begins to move through you. Many of us have walked the initiatory path the way the hero walks it: departure, ordeal, conquest, a return with the prize. That path has its truth. What is asking to be born in Temenos sounds a different note. This is initiatory ground, and you do not come as a client or a follower, and no one will carry you across. We hold the ground. You take charge of your own crossing. And this pathway is feminine. It is less the storming of a gate than the slow opening of a chamber. The old mysteries knew a bridal chamber, the place where the soul is wed to what is greater than itself. Here what softens is the personality: the armour, the clever strategies, the shapes we built in order to survive. They are not broken. They soften, the way ice softens in the first warmth. As they soften, something that was always there begins to shine through, the clear and uncut crystal of the being. The journey moves along a cross. One way leads downward: into matter, into the wound, into grief, into an underworld that has its own life and does not answer to our plans. The other leads upward, toward the vast and unbound, toward the frequency we choose to align with, alone and together. Both pulls live in us, and both carry longing as well as resistance. Temenos does not ask you to choose between them. They meet in the heart. This is the heart the old traditions knew as the palace of imagination, the organ through which the soul perceives what is real. There, what vibrates within you shows itself as a mirror of a greater existence. In Temenos the frequency is lived in the body, in the circle, in the dark hours and at dawn. Every fall, Oktoberfest turns my hometown Munich into 16 days of craziness. I used to totally resist it. This week, I went anyways and really enjoyed it(probably also because of the company😉) Fully sober, fully conscious, I saw it through a different lens I believe, the million pilgrims coming to „Wiesn“ (how the locals call it), are looking for more than beer and buzz. They want some magic: shaking off the tension of everyday life and find relief by diving into this fairytale of dirndls, lederhosen, carousels and celebration! I believe it all comes down to a collective longing for ecstasy. So I had a crazy thought: What if Oktoberfest is secretly... a Temple? An unconscious one, but holding some important Temple elements: Ritual 💫opens an extraordinary space for magic to unfold. 🍺special clothes strip away the ordinary and things like the ever-returning "Prosit der Gemütlichkeit" builds an invisible frame for the chaos. Permission 💫we're simply allowed to be. 🍺permission to be loud, to lose control, to feel alive, and to vibrate an unapologetic YES to life with thousands of others. Pleasure 💫We taste, smell, see, hear and feel life itself! Slowness and presence bring intensity. 🍺roast chicken, cotton candy, beer, lights, music and rollercoasters provide a full-on rush of the senses. Connection 💫with ourselves, with others, with the universe. It's about oneness. 🍺Strangers sing together, fall into eachother's arms. No apps required. A reminder of the availability and ease of personal, immediate contact. In the end, it's not the beer or the clothes that create the magic. It's the people. And something bigger: Millions come for ecstasy and I`m sure – at least for a moment- most feel the unleashing of an energy that was just waiting to be freed for the whole year. An unfathomable amount of energy flows freely over Oktoberfest. The downside is that nobody knows what to do with it (the reason for many of the darker sides of the fest). I wonder: What if we directed that energy to a purpose? What if all that collective ecstasy was dedicated to something? To peace for example. THAT would be real Oktoberfest magic! by @sylvicares

Do you have a moment? I'd like to share something personal with you. Something that's been on my heart for a while. My name is Sylvi. No e at the end. And the y and the i exactly where they stand right here. Easy. And yet, I receive messages where my name is spelled wrong almost every day. Sometimes from people who've known me for years. Sometimes from people who text me on Insta of fb, where my name appears in big letters. I know that no one is doing it by purpose. Our systems, our brains, our attention- all is overloaded. I get it. And still, it gives me a small sting- every single time. I don't feel truly seen. Yet, I almost never bring it up. I tell myself: "It´s just letters. Not that important. It's fine. There are worse things." Do you know situations like that, too? Something bothers you, a crossed boundary, a rough tone, a wish goes unheard and you think: "Not a big deal. Not worth mentioning." You swallow it. We think we're swallowing it FOR the relationship, FOR the connection. But in that moment, the opposite happens: We step out of connection. We pull back and lose exactly the closeness we actually wanted to create. And then the next situation comes along..., also swallowed... Here's the problem: these small things don't disappear. They pile up and build a tower that, one day, becomes too big to balance. And then- usually triggered by something trivial- the tower topples, because we simply can't hold it any longer. We and the tower break down, and often do real damage. Been there, done it! That's exactly why I keep practicing speaking up instead of piling up. I train the muscle of staying in connection, instead of disappearing and building towers. Real connection means: I show up as I am. With what's on my heart. With what moves me. The thing with my name is a training ground for that muscle. I want to stay in connection with you. So today, I'm telling you: It`s important to me that you spell my name right! Y first. I last. Thank you for hearing me and paying attention in the future! What are you swallowing right now? And what would change if you spoke it, calmly and kindly, today, instead of adding it to the tower? by @sylvicares
The message I received from today's solar eclipse is such a perfect fit for my life right now! I spent the solar eclipse in nature by a lake. By myself. When the moon covered the sun more and more, the light changed into beautiful golden-hour-sunset-light while the sun was still quite high up in the sky. At the same time, nature went totally quiet around me. Instead of their excited sunset concert, the birds went completely quiet. The breeze that was alive during the hours before, stopped. The water went still, like it was holding its breath. I was sitting still too. And these are the messages I received from this moment: Small can be powerful too. We spend so much of our lives associating power with anything loud and big and active. The sun is the biggest and brightest star in our sky. But for a few minutes, the smaller moon crossed in front of it, and made the entire world stop. Just by being there and taking its space. Pausing can feel full. Sitting there by the lake, I felt that pause intensely in my body. I wasn't planning, producing, expressing, reaching, offering. I wasn't even trying to receive anything either. I was just there. Present in the moment. It felt full. Silence carries wisdom. We're taught that stillness and quietness is a gap waiting to be filled. Sitting there while the birds held their silence, I didn´t perceive the quiet as empty. It was saying a lot. The eclipse just gave it a moment where it could finally be heard. And maybe that´s what I need to remember as well: To make space for the small but important things in my life more often. To regularly have a pause. And to deeply listen to the wisdom of the silence. What message had the eclipse for you? by @sylvicares
Welches Gedicht schreibst Du heute? by @sylvicares
Some spaces are hard to put into words. Munich Temple was one of them. A field of bodies, breath, touch, tenderness, courage, laughter, tears, consent, curiosity, stillness & movement. And those sacred moments where something in us softens and remembers that we don’t have to do this human thing alone. Thank you to everyone who entered the space with so much presence and honesty. Thank you for your yes, your no, your openness, your boundaries, your vulnerability and your very real human hearts. This Temple was co-created by @templecaravan, @sylvicares, @sinaaanoelle, @pleasuremermaid and the beautiful team who helped hold the field with so much care. With deep gratitude for what moved through us, what softened in us, and what still continues to echo in the body. Now Temple Caravan continues but it sure will return to beautiful Munich. 🫀 #templelovers #consciousintimacy #embodiedwork #somaticwork by @sylvicares
The boxes are unpacked. The laundry is done. And I'm still unpacking what these 8 days of the ISTA training in Berlin meant for me. That's how it goes with this work. The outer stuff settles quickly. The inner stuff takes its time. Even though I've been at so many trainings and containers by now, and I was "only" in the organizer role, I had my own process. Of course. Because everything is always connected. The challenges were real. A brand new seminar room that had never held this kind of work before. We had to breathe life into it from scratch. And then the heatwave hit. It peaked right at the weekend when we were going deep into rituals. So we had to get creative. I organized fans, wetted the curtains to cool the room down. We shifted the schedule: early morning sessions, long siestas through the worst of the midday heat, later evenings to catch the cooler air. We even moved some sessions that didn´t require so much privacy out to the jetty on the lake, sitting in a circle with a breeze coming off the water. I definitely expanded my capacity during this week. Again. For navigating the unexpected while staying soft, spacious and connected to myself and to everyone around me. Stretched AND soft. Challenged AND connected. Doing a lot AND still being. Under pressure AND with my heart wide open. I'm proud. And deeply grateful. That's what this work teaches. Being with what is. Don't fight it. Use it. Integrate all that is into the experience. And let the challenge become the very thing to empower yourself and make it an unforgetable moment of magic. That´s what we did. Together with an absolutely amazing team (I love this team soooo much!). And the group. Oh, this group. So ready for the work. So open. So beautiful in their honesty and vulnerability. So strong in their raw emotions and aliveness. Witnessing people show up fully, courageously, authentically never gets old. It's an honor every single time. I love this work. It's magical. For me, for the team, for the participants. And I truly believe - for the whole world. by @sylvicares

Last woman standing. Also verlege ich alles in meinen Tempelraum in Dachau. Kein Drama. Einfach klar. Weich. Hingabe. Gleichzeitig sind 1 Million Stories hochgekommen:  weiter in by @sylvicares
