Industry-ready sensors vs. my capstone demo

I made this to show business people the difference between the two in a simple, visual way.
Left: industry-ready sensors for vibration, ultrasound and temperature, shown inside and out.
Right: my capstone demo of a full monitoring system.
The capstone shows the concept. My goal is to build industry-level sensors of my own one day.

Made these 3D models so the business mentors could see the difference

Last reel: industry-ready sensor nodes.
This one: the complete design for my capstone, exactly how it’s supposed to work. About C$1,400 on dev boards.

Same idea. Whole different ball game.

Reverse-engineering an industrial condition-monitoring sensor: vibration, temperature, ultrasound. Two reference designs to explore, T and AW.

Step 1 of building EdgeGuard. These models get a future team up to speed, so we can build our own sensor together.

This is how I picture my EdgeGuard sensor node. 3D first

The real footage from Vuhledar proved it: Russia can't fight a war. So I recreated the battle myself.

130+ Russian vehicles. Three weeks. One kill zone. They never adapted, just kept driving into the same mines and artillery like it was a suicide mission.

Vuhledar held for 20 more months, until Ukraine pulled out in October 2024 to avoid being encircled.

My personal project, where my military background meets programming. Every battle recreated in 3D from the real reports.

I've been really enjoying creating these animated war stories. What started with 3D models evolved into simulations and now full cinematic scenes.

Today, I present War Stories: The Convoy That Didn't Make It, inspired by the Ukrainian ambush of a Russian armored column near Skybyn on March 10, 2022 🇺🇦

Welcome to EdgeGuard Defense. In this demo, we're showing that not even attack helicopters are safe against FPV drones. Based on real events over Russia's Belgorod region.

Welcome to EdgeGuard Robotics.

We're building our own robot simulation. Similar idea to OCTOPUZ and FANUC's sim, but aiming for a better model and a 3D view that puts you inside the cell.

Still a lot to work on. My bro in robotics will be helping me relearn how real robots are programmed, and I'm building that into the learning sim.

August 2024: A Ukrainian FPV drone strikes a Russian transport helicopter.

Modern warfare is changing. Engineering is rewriting the rules.
