CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR — New video released earlier today by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office shows the end of an armed standoff this past Saturday after authorities say 53-year-old Erik Shunn shot more than 200 rounds before attempting to flee on a tractor.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded after reports that the suspect had fired at tree workers near a residence. During the hours-long standoff, investigators say he continued firing from the property, including shooting at and disabling a police drone (video) being used overhead.

The situation eventually ended when Shunn climbed onto a tractor and attempted to leave the property.

Team boiz moved in, using armor to pin the tractor in place after deputies saw an opportunity to separate him from his rifle. He was taken into custody without further incident.

Shunn now faces multiple felony charges and is being held without bail.

More than 200 rounds fired, a police drone shot down and a tractor getaway attempt. Big Saturday in Clackamas County.
