TALK TO ME TUESDAY is BACK! Fake offers are the new marketing tool in college basketball. Sometimes a coach “offers” just to stay connected to a local program. Sometimes it’s a favor to an AAU coach. Sometimes… they just want to keep their name around a prospect they think might turn out good later. But here’s the question — if you’ve never talked to the coaching staff, never seen the campus, and never been told what your role would be… is it really an offer? Real offers come with conversations, context, and timelines. Fake offers come with hype, pressure, and perception. Parents — get educated. Players — stay locked in on development. Because the offers that matter are the ones that come with opportunity, not applause. Let’s talk 👇 Do you think fake offers are ruining recruiting? Or just part of the game now? #TalkToMeTuesday #CoachBarnes2 #BrandonBarnes #BeGreatToday #Basketball #Recruiting #ExplorePage #FYP #CollegeBasketball #AAUHoops #HighSchoolBasketball

AAU Coaches before and during the season 😂 Talking about how we are “family” and we are building something “special” 😂😂 If you’re an AAU coach don’t come at me in the comments either 😅 I know not all of you guys are trash. I’ve met some really good coaches out there actually. And I know training industry isn’t much better at times. All jokes.

The common thought of most Grassroots coaches and directors is my team has beat shoe sponsored teams or I have a pretty talented kid playing for me - the deal is around the corner. These things help, but a sneaker sponsorship is not a reward - it’s a partnership. Shoe companies want to know that when they extend you money and product, you have built a strong brand that can grow and won’t disappear or peak soon after. They are investing in your brand so you can help them expand theirs. Let us know your thoughts in the comments! #aau #nikeeybl #3ssb #uaa #aaubasketball #aaucoach #basketballtrainer #grassrootsbasketball

Players win, and coaches lose 🤝 When you're an AAU coach and everything is somehow always your fault, remember we signed up for this. It will always be the coach that somehow is the mistake because it's too hard to face maybe the athlete is the problem. I HATE TO LOSE, but it's part of this process 🤦🏽‍♂️ and if I offer a kid a spot and they are too scared to take the challenge, it tells me a lot about their basketball 🏀 future 💯 Please like 👍🏽 share 🤝 comment 🗣 #BasketballLife #aaubasketball #basketballcommunity #uconn #CoachCCollins #YBAnywhereelse #hatetolose #YouthSports #highlevel ##collegebasketball

Whew... So is this how y'all feel parents... This thing called AAU is expensive! And while your athlete needs to be doing all they should on the court... You should also be making sure you're prepared as well! And we have DivisionI head coach Special Jennings coming into our community TONIGHT at 7pm to help make sure The Different Community parents are prepared! Want in? COMMENT "Different" and I'll send you a link! #Collegebasketball #womensbasketball #aau #aaubasketball #basketballparents #sportsparents #sportspod #sportspodcast #girlsbasketball #dallasbasketball #austinbasketball #youthbasketball
