LCI Consultants is excited to share the latest construction update for the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD) at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne—a project that’s rapidly transforming into a world-class biomedical engineering research translation centre. Since July 2017, our team has been dedicated to delivering a comprehensive Building Services Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection and Hydraulics), Environmentally Sustainable Design solutions and Vertical Transportation for this state-of-the-art facility. As the ACMD takes shape, we're proud of the role we've played in ensuring it not only meets the highest standards of sustainability but also becomes a landmark of innovation in Victoria. The ACMD brings together leading universities, research institutes and industry partners with a major tertiary hospital to address some of the world’s most challenging health problems. From cutting-edge laboratories to pioneering bio-fabrication facilities, the ACMD is designed to be a collaborative space that supports unique partnerships between clinicians, engineers and scientists to drive solutions using technologies in MedTech, biotech and digital health.
