Bourgade Catholic High School boys team took the court in @acufirestorm showcase and did not upset. I had the opportunity to follow this team last year and watched as their varsity team consisted of mainly freshmen. It was a huge learning season for the team and will be paying off for the upcoming 2025-2026 season! BCHS will be returning their big man #34 Jacob Banja (C/O 2028) standing at 6’7” to continue dominating the paint on both defense and offense! His length creates trouble in the paint for anyone looking for a bucket in the paint. Jacob will need to work on his finishing in the paint but once he locks in his work under the basket he will be difficult to defend! Tyson Trujillo (C/O 2026) will also be returning for the Golden Eagles for his senior year. Watching this forward/wing play last year he played with a level headed game and looking forward to how development has improved. The Golden Eagles will also be reloading up with their incoming freshmen and transfer students! Some notable freshmen to keep an eye on will be PG Malik Frazier (C/O 2029) and Ray’Shun Gasaway (C/O 2029) who plays the wing these two freshmen are tough kids looking to bring back the excitement to Bourgade Catholic High School basketball since the early 2000’s. @arizona_smallball_podcast @arizonapreps make sure and keep an eye on this team!
