Repost from @edwardsairforcebase • Drone Dominance: Edwards Launches "Game of Drones" for the Warfighter! 🔶 The Experimental Test Force, in collaboration with the Defense Contract Management Agency’s US-X unit, hosted the inaugural "Game of Drones" event from December 8-12 on the historic Rogers Dry Lake at Edwards Air Force Base. The week-long effort united six industry partners and engineers from the @afresearchlab to conduct live experimentation of emerging small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) and associated hardware. The combination of collaboration and real-time feedback will assist users from across the joint services in identifying key technologies and designs to expand the Department of War’s Blue List, a program that enables rapid selection of approved unmanned aerial systems. 📸 Blaine Torres . . #usaf #suas #drone #military #edwardsafb
US War Department and FAA to Conduct Advanced Counter-Drone Laser Tests The Joint Interagency Task Force 401 and the Federal Aviation Administration conducted a high-energy laser test on March 7-8, 2026, to continue advancing the safe use of counter-unmanned aerial systems in the United States. This test is part of a long-term, multi-year partnership between the Department of War and the FAA to ensure counter-drone technologies are safely integrated into the national airspace. The plan has been jointly developed by a wide range of stakeholders, with support from the White House Task Force to Restore American Airspace Sovereignty. Key partners supporting the JIATF-401 laser test include the FAA, White Sands Missile Range, the Army Program Acquisition Executive-Fires, Northern Command, and Joint Task Force Southern Border. This is a critical step in making sure our warfighters have the most advanced tools to defend the homeland, said U.S. Army Brigadier General Matt Ross, Director of JIATF-401. By working hand-in-hand with the FAA and our interagency partners, we are ensuring that these cutting-edge capabilities are safe, effective, and ready to protect Americans from emerging drone threats. Our measure of success is to quickly deliver state-of-the-art C-UAS capability to the warfighter, and this test furthers that mission. The test is a continuation of extensive testing conducted by the DoW over the last few decades. Earlier tests provided valuable data, further refining the systems capabilities and advancing the collaborative effort between DoW and the FAA. This upcoming event will specifically address FAA safety concerns while gathering data about the lasers material effects on aircraft surrogates, validating the functionality of automated safety shut-off systems, and informing analyses for aircrew eye safety. The test underscores an ongoing unified federal effort to counter threats posed by unmanned aerial systems while maintaining the sovereignty and safety of U.S. airspace.Source:DoW #war #department #and #faa #conduct #video #instagram #content
Drones are changing the battlespace - and the @royalairforceregiment is ready. As uncrewed aerial systems become more capable and more common, they pose new risks to our people, aircraft and bases. To stay ahead, RAF Regiment teams use a layered Counter‑UAS system that can detect, disrupt or defeat hostile drones. Air Commodore Paul Hamilton: “Our layered system means we always have options: detect, disrupt or defeat. Rapid Sentry gives us a credible and highly capable kinetic safeguard when a drone cannot be defeated electronically.” Protecting air operations. Protecting our people. Ready for the threats of today - and tomorrow.
🚨 **MYSTERY DRONES SWARM BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE** 🚨 Barksdale AFB (home to America’s B-52 bomber fleet & Air Force Global Strike Command) just got hit by waves of **12–15 sophisticated unauthorized drones** March 9–15, 2026. They flew 4 hours a day, targeted the flight line, used custom tech that laughed at jamming attempts, and even lit up to test security responses. Shelter-in-place orders were issued. FPCON Charlie activated. Flight line shut down. Officials are calling it a “significant threat to national security.” No recoveries, no arrests, and the investigation (FAA + Louisiana State Police) is still wide open. This wasn’t your average hobby drone… these were deliberate, advanced, and probing one of our most critical nuclear bases. What do you think — foreign actors, domestic test, or something else? 👀 Drop your theories below! #BarksdaleAFB #DroneSwarm #MilitaryNews #NationalSecurity #USAirForce B52Bombers DroneIncursion BreakingNews LouisianaNews (Repost if you want more eyes on this 👇)
DRONE SWARM BREACHES BARKSDALE AFB DEFENSES 🚩 🇺🇸 @rageintel Military officials report 12–15+ unsanctioned drones swarmed Barksdale Air Force Base, home to the U.S. nuclear-capable B-52 bomber fleet. The drones reportedly resisted jamming attempts and appeared in multiple waves over sensitive areas throughout the week, raising serious security concerns.
We are excited to be here at Day 2 of AUSA Global Force showcasing our innovative Aerosonde® Mk. 4.7 VTOL UAS technology and the advancements we are providing to the warfighter. Stop by booth #1621 to learn more about the capabilities we are bringing to the battlefield.

🚨 This shouldn’t be possible… but it happened. For nearly a week, wave after wave of advanced drones flew over Barksdale Air Force Base — one of the most sensitive nuclear command sites in the U.S. Not 1… not 2… 👉 12–15 drones at a time 👉 Operating in coordinated waves 👉 Resistant to jamming 👉 Long-range, non-commercial tech Experts say this wasn’t random. It looked like a deliberate probe of U.S. defenses. Let that sink in… A nuclear-capable base… And something was flying above it without being stopped. 👀 So what were they testing… and who sent them? 🚨 Mystery drone incursions over Barksdale Air Force Base raise serious national security concerns. Between March 9–15, multiple waves of unidentified drones—described as advanced, long-range, and resistant to electronic warfare—were observed flying over one of the most sensitive U.S. military installations. Barksdale AFB houses B-52 bombers and plays a key role in nuclear command operations, making these incursions especially alarming. Defense experts suggest the activity may have been a deliberate attempt to test U.S. response capabilities and expose vulnerabilities in domestic drone defense systems. As drone warfare evolves globally, incidents like this highlight a growing threat to critical infrastructure inside the United States. 📌 Follow for real-time UAP, defense, and aerial anomaly updates. #UAP #UFO #DroneSwarm #BarksdaleAFB #MilitaryTech
