Deepfakes and generative AI are no longer experimental tools. They are already shaping how information moves, how stories are told, and how trust is built or broken.
The question is not whether the technology exists.
The real question is whether we are ready to understand it, identify it, and communicate responsibly around it.
AI literacy is quickly becoming a communications skill.
Stay informed. Stay curious. And question what you see.

Ex-Google design ethicist and AI expert Tristan Harris reveals the truth about what artificial intelligence is about to do to jobs, the economy, politics, and the future of human purpose. After years inside Google and more than a decade researching the social effects of technology, Tristan warns that we are approaching a moment where AI outpaces human control and reshapes society faster than governments can react.
Drawing on examples from social media, global trade, student debt, and national security, Tristan shows how AI will redefine every issue from immigration to democracy. He also shares the personal story behind his mission to warn the world before it is too late.

The government of Australia is reportedly considering extending its youth online safety laws to **ban AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Gemini for users under the age of 16. The proposal comes after Australia introduced strict rules targeting social media platforms used by minors. Officials say the move is aimed at protecting children from potential risks associated with generative AI, including misinformation and harmful content, as governments globally debate regulations for rapidly growing AI technologies.

Also, friendly reminder that 17 and 18-year-olds have hacked into the NSA just because people don't necessarily have experience in the world doesn't mean that they can't come up with good ideas
Everyone's so focused on the details they forget to zoom out and focus on what the goal or the bigger picture of AI even is how to actually make implementations where to do strategic impact.
I didn't come to this conclusion because I saw some randoms everyday and see what needs to be built
If you want I do have a community. It's completely free. We've got over a hundred people. I only launched it 4 days ago but it's full of builders, business owners and engineers trying to build properly in a world like this.

AI companies are going to get humanity in trouble if citizens don’t set the proper guardrails.
AI companies are competing to see who can spread faster, and many companies creating AI-agents are thinking about their narrow interests to maximize the output they get from their AI agents, rather than thinking about the broader societal interests. Without proper regulation, some of these tools are going to get humanity in trouble. Politicians are at best asleep at the wheel. Tech cos are competing to see who can win more. Who is the adult in the room?
We’ve seen this movie before: where special interests have incentives to do stuff that is at odds with the interests of society, but their interests are concentrated, while we are all distracted with our lives.
Last time this happened was with social media. Congress passed a law to let the industry “bloom,” exempting internet companies from liability - giving them blanket immunity over all they publish.
Now social media companies are so powerful that they own and control politicians, and these politicians have no guts to set reasonable regulations to prevent abuses. For example, social media companies can monetize hate, spread falsities, and face no liability.
We cannot afford to miss this moment with AI regulation the way we did with social media.
Across the board, citizens should join forces to hold all special interests accountable - whether it be industry groups, extremist factions with special interest agendas, or political parties and divisive politicians.
Whether it is voting rights, socioeconomic opportunities, pharmaceutical reform, AI governance, or any “wedge” issue used to divide us, if all of us as citizens join forces, we can build trust, start solving problems together - and propel politicians to follow the will of the people.
It’s not as hard as you may think. All you need to do is learn more at www.BuildersMovement.org.
Let’s build the future instead of watching it get built for us.
