Starting the week with this gorgeous Fendi clay — textured by my friend @ioancarratala (I borrowed it and now I don’t want to give it back) and glazed with my favorite AMACO Brent colors, just the way I love it. #cerâmicaartesanal #feitoàmao #ceramicabrasil #ceramicaviva #texturaceramica #fendiceramica #tatart #esmaltesceramicos #amacobrent #ceramicaartistica #pecaunica #segundou #handmadeceramics #brazilianclay #ceramictexture #artceramics #fendiclay #tatartceramics #ceramiclove #glazetest #uniqueclay #ceramicinspiration #mondaymood

End Result included!🔥My first KILN ICE glaze test, namely with Amaco‘s Snow Drift on a vase outside, paired with Indigo Float inside. And I‘m very happy with the result!🥳 The cracks developed in the first hours after taking the vase from the kiln — in the beginning, it looked pretty beige, just like a clear glaze applied in too many layers 😅, but all the cracks increased the opacity of the glaze, making it brighter and bringing out its beauty 👍🥳. I thought I might need to use white underglaze next time, but now it turned out to be unnecessary 🤩👍. Looking forward to test out these kinds of glazes more! Although they are not suitable for dinnerware (bacteria can accumulate in the cracks). So more for vases & maybe on the outside of bowls etc.. 👍🙂 GLAZING SUMMARY: (all glazes from @amacobrent ) Outside (& rim): 4x Snow Drift (KI-11), 4th layer only on too 3/4. Inside: 3x Indigo Float (PC-23). On bisque-fired, white groggless stoneware clay (W from Sibelco). 🔥Fired to Cone 5.5–6 (top shelf), using a „drop & soak + slow cool“ schedule similar to „C5DHSC“ on digitalfire.com 😃. Heated with 60°C/h to 1185°C, 10 min hold, dropped quickly to 1130°C, 30 min hold, then cooled to 1000°C within 100 min. . . . . . . . #homepotterystudio #potterylove #töpfernmachtglücklich #keramikschweiz #glazeinspiration #glazeinstructions #glazinginstruction #glazingpottery #glazingceramics #glazeexperiments #glazingexperiments #amacobrent #kilnice #kilniceglazes #snowdrift #snowdriftglaze #amacosnowdrift #indigofloat #howiamaco
