Genting Highlands, Malaysia 🇲🇾 Genting Highlands is a mountain resort about 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur, known for its theme parks, cable car rides, huge shopping mall, luxury hotels, and one of the biggest casinos in the region. It’s one of the most popular day trips from Kuala Lumpur with amazing views of the rainforest and mountains. We booked our tickets from Klook and visited both the indoor & outdoor theme parks and Casino. 🎡 Indoor Theme Park (Skytropolis) + Cable Car Both Ways Cost: ₹1900 per person Includes 1-day unlimited rides inside the indoor theme park + Awana SkyWay cable car both ways. 🎢 Outdoor Theme Park – Genting SkyWorlds Cost: ₹2300 per person This ticket includes: • Admission to Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park • Complimentary up to 3 Virtual Queue reservations (through the Genting SkyWorlds App, available on iOS & Android) 📍 How to reach From KL sentral, take a bus to Awana Station, then ride the Awana SkyWay cable car (~10 minutes) to reach Genting Highlands. 🚠 The cable car ride itself is beautiful as it passes above a 130-million-year-old rainforest, and you can also stop at Chin Swee Temple on the way. 💡 Pro tips: • Book your KL → Genting bus in advance because it gets fully booked quickly. • Also book your return bus ticket in advance for whatever time suits you. • Try to book a return bus before 9 PM to avoid availability issues. • Carry a light jacket because the weather is cooler than Kuala Lumpur. * Please note: 8 hours are not enough to explore everything, so plan accordingly what to explore and don't waste your time in line to do activities during weekends because it will take a lot of your time. * First, explore the outdoor park to do three rides that you will pre-book from the app (VR). Ujian sistem bayaran jalan ke Genting Highlands akan bermula pada 2 April ini, melibatkan dua pintu masuk utama iaitu Genting Sempah dan bulatan Gohtong Jaya. Menurut Lingkaran Cekap Sdn Bhd (LCSB), tiada caj akan dikenakan sepanjang tempoh ujian. Namun begitu, pemandu tetap diwajibkan mengetap kad pembayaran seperti Touch ‘n Go, kad debit atau kredit di setiap gantri. Langkah ini bertujuan memastikan sistem berfungsi dengan lancar sebelum pelaksanaan penuh dilakukan. Cadangan mengenakan bayaran ke atas jalan persendirian ini sebelum ini disahkan oleh Genting Malaysia Bhd pada November tahun lalu, susulan peningkatan kos penyelenggaraan jalan sepanjang 24km yang telah ditanggung sejak 1960-an.
