✨📖ARC Review ✨📖 💫A very special thanks to William Morrow Books + Netgalley for the gifted copy. The Secrets We Hide by Karin Slaughter published yesterday!! Go grab this series today! 📖Review: Picking up the book, I couldn’t stop after the first chapter. This is truly a page turner. If it wasn’t so late reading, I may have binged this book in a day. Following Emmy and Jude into their next investigation was intense. I felt like I was beside them trying to solve this crime. Add in some family secrets and turmoil and it’s an addicting read. Following clues that may solve the case was intense, and just when I thought I had it all figured out I was surprised to find out more revelations. Eagerly waiting for book 3. 💭Last 5 star read? #thesecretswehide #karinslaughter #williammorrowbooks #mysterybooks #addictingbooks

ARC Review A dark magical escape! I was completely drawn into this story! The world is dark, mysterious and beautifully immersive. it's filled with magic, danger, survival, action and a delightfull slow-burn romance well balance. I loved everything the charcters, atmosphere, worldbuilding and the storyline. Human are ensalved, angels have fallen and the shadows are spread. The FMC is strong and determine and her growth throughout the sotry felt genuine. Love the MMC strenght and loyalty. Their relationship had me invested. And the ending? I need more. If you love characters journeys, mystery and a rich vibrant fantasy world, this is definitely one to get lost in. Thank you to the author @kortneyjanderson_author for the eARC, this is my honest review. QOTD: What’s a fantasy world you’d willingly get lost in? #arcreviewr #arcreview #booksreviews #darkfantasy #bookstagram
*** ARC REVIEW *** No Gods West of Here by Hanna Gaard is the perfect type of Romantasy in that it isn't a typical Romantasy. Yes, it falls into the Romantasy genre, but, and this is a huge but, it has created an original and unique sub-genre (I am was thrilled, utterly thrilled to experience it) There is so much to experience from this novel, not least a delicious blending of Western/ Frontier fiction, Dark Fantasy, Mythology and of course Dark Academia and Core Fantasy elements, a magical concoction the likes of which I have never experienced. (How about, you get a gorgeous bath bomb, it smells wonderful in the store, you yeet it into your bath and get a beautiful, rich colour pallette and at the centre, is a little packet of glitter that floats to the surface as it melts! Not only do you feel rested, but it also makes your skin feel like velvet. Ok, that was a long analogy,so if you would like to see the whole review, it's at https://www.goodreads.com/ink_reads Thank you to Hanna Gaard for this amazing book. Happy Release Day! ARC Review! This is a funny, cozy mystery was such a joy to read. I loved how it hihlights the everyday chaos of mom life: juggling schedules, endless tasks and car line on the school while quietly showing how so much more is happening beneath the surface. We follow FMC as she dives into the mystery surrounding the disappearane and death of a fellow parent. The twists kept me guessing the whole time; just when I thought I had it figured out, the story took another turn. One of my favorite parts was the authentic autistic representation, giving meaningul voice and space within the story. And the friendship between the FMC and her best friend was an absoilutely heartwarming and hilarious. They truly have each other's backs. This was such a fun, engaging read and I'm already hoping for more of this FMC's mystery solving adventures. If you love cozy mysteries with heart, humor and a touch of chaos, you'll definitely enjoy this one. Thanky you to the author @kristinelizabethauthor and @iris.influencer.society for the eARC, this is my honest review. QOTD: What makes a perfect cozy mystery for you? #arcreview #CarlineCozyMystery #KristinElizabeth #irisinfluencersociety #irispr
Stop to read this for a second, there’s no way you called “ARC review” a hook 👀⬇️ Because that’s not a hook. That’s a Bookstagram post category. DM ME one word „HOOKS“ / COMMENT IT BELOW and I’ll send you my free Bookstagram hook guide 💜 Here’s the pattern: “Book haul” tells me what the post is. “I said i will buy one book. That was a lie.” makes me want the next slide. “ARC review” tells me what the post is. “This ARC made me forgive a red flag.” makes me nosy. “Release day” tells me what the post is. “I waited months for this. I was not ready.” creates tension. That’s the difference. Most Bookstagram posts don’t need a better design first. They need a stronger reason to swipe. A title describes. A hook interrupts. 💜Comment / DM me HOOKS and I’ll send you the free guide with Bookstagram hooks you can actually fill in and use. 💜FOLLOW @readwithmariaxoxo for Bookstagram growth that actually converts #bookstagramgrowth #bookstagramtips #bookishcreator #growyourbookstagram #contentstrategy
As some of you know, I have multiple autoimmune diseases, but I’m also a former competitive hockey player who had to give up playing the game after an injury. I was able to relate to so many feelings captured in this book. Jillian beautifully explained the betrayal you feel when your body fights you and takes something from you that you love. It was spot on. Thank you, Jillian Arly, for capturing how we “spoonies” feel when life takes something from us that we love 💜 •ARC Review • Defend Her Heart by Jillian Arly• 🏒 Green Bay Bobcats Book 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5/5) 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️✨ (4.5/5) Connor and Avery have A LOT of history, going all the way back to their hockey prep school days. Years later, Connor is an NHL star while Avery is starting over after a difficult divorce and struggling with significant health issues she desperately needs answers for. Hockey has always been a huge part of both of their lives. While Connor’s path took him to the NHL, Avery had to adjust what her place in the hockey world looked like, going from player to play-by-play announcer. Now they both find themselves with the Green Bay Bobcats. There was more to both Connor and Avery than just their history together. Avery’s search for answers about her health and Connor’s own journey with his mental health added more depth to their story that I really appreciated. 📖 You might like this if you like: 🏒 Hockey romance 💜 Second chance 💍 Marriage of convenience ❤️‍🔥 Slow burn 🫶🏼 Found family 💚 Chronic illness representation 🎙️ Women in sports #arcreview #defendherheart #secondchanceromance #hockeyromance #bookstagram

Something you could throw away & always have a new one and not worry about the environment? Lyra MacDonald’s magic is fresh and unpredictable. Unfortunately, it gets wonky after she’s chosen to be on The Bewitching Bake-Off, a magical reality show that everyone loves. Their connection is so strong that Lyra spontaneously creates hedgehogs out of thin air whenever she thinks of him. They’re adorable, but a little embarrassing and not useful at all! 😃💫Blog Tour💫😀 🌟ARC Review🌟 Title: Demons and Diplomacy Author: Megan Frampton Rating: 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ QOTD: What was your very first job? In 1851, Queen Victoria started a program called The Great Awakening, where supernatural beings could come out of hiding and live freely. It turns out Queen Victoria is a vampire, and her husband is a dhamphir. The government needed someone to bridge the gap between the supernaturals and humans, so Cora Hastings became the Species Ombudsman. Her job hasn’t been too thrilling until the Devil decides he wants a London vacation to see Prince Albert’s Great Exhibition. He arrives with a big group, including his handsome son, Marcellus, the Marquis of Hell. Cora’s job is to make sure the Devil sees everything he wants and gets everything he desires. Cora and Marcellus have instant chemistry, and as they spend time together, their attraction only intensifies.
