I’ve been holding onto this for a while… and I’m finally getting close to sharing it.
Over the past several months, I’ve been working behind the scenes on something really special. A new message. A new keynote. A new way of talking about what leaders and teams need right now.
Because everywhere I go, I’m hearing the same thing from leaders:
“The pressure isn’t slowing down.”
“Our people are exhausted.”
“We want to build strong teams, but everything feels uncertain.”
So I started asking a bigger question:
What does it actually take to build a team that stays strong when the pressure never stops?
That question turned into something big.
And I can’t wait to share it with you very soon. 🚀
Stay tuned.

Plot twist: confidence isn’t built by winning.
It’s built when your actions start matching who you actually are.
As I’ve been preparing and delivering keynotes this month, I keep seeing the same thing in rooms full of leaders and women doing meaningful work.
Everyone thinks confidence shows up after the result.
After the promotion.
After the growth.
After the moment you finally feel “ready.”
But the leaders who are actually growing right now?
They’re not waiting for confidence.
They’re getting aligned.
Aligned with their values.
Aligned with the life they actually want to build.
Aligned with the person they know they’re capable of becoming.
In agriculture we see this clearly.
You plant the seed.
Protect the soil.
Do the work.
And growth still happens slowly — season by season.
That doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It means you’re becoming.
Honestly, this is the message I keep seeing leaders need permission to sit with right now.
Growth isn’t happening because someone suddenly feels confident.
It’s happening because leaders are getting rooted in what actually matters.
If you’re planning leadership events or conferences for the year ahead, my 2026 Fall/Winter calendar is now open.

@dr_robynehd says: Want to lift your hope? Start by lifting your energy. ⚡
In uncertain times, that’s not always easy—but energy isn’t just physical. It’s emotional and mental, too.
One simple reset: empathic attunement—connecting with yourself and others to restore calm and balance.
Shift your energy → shift your outlook. ✨
Ready to bring this energy to your next event? Let’s power it up. ⚡🎤

When I'm speaking to audiences about leadership, I often bring up something called the broken rung.
It's the first step into management, and it's where many women face the biggest barrier. For every 100 men promoted, only 87 women are promoted. For women of colour, the gap is even larger.
Those early leadership opportunities shape everything that comes after.
This is why I love speaking to organizations and at conferences. These conversations help people rethink leadership pipelines, opportunity, and the support systems needed for people to succeed.
If you're looking for a keynote speaker for your next event, send me a message and let's talk about how I can support your audience.
If you’re planning a leadership conference or executive event this year, this is the kind of conversation leaders are asking for right now.
Grateful to Corporate Speakers Australia for the feature.
I work with organisations navigating complexity — from geopolitical shifts and climate risk to organisational transformation and leadership under pressure.
My keynotes are designed to do one thing:
help leaders make sense of what’s changing, and what to do next.
Over the coming months, I’ll be speaking with government, corporate and development leaders across Australia and the region.
Availability is limited and bookings are filling quickly.
If you’re shaping your next event, I’d love to connect.
Mic in hand or strategy in motion - Cheryl brings clarity where there’s noise. From keynote stages to team breakthroughs, she sparks action, sharpens voices, and turns untapped potential into lived leadership.
Want to know my favorite part of speaking?
Most people assume it’s the confetti — and don’t get me wrong, I love that moment of celebration.
But the truth? What means the most to me is the impact.
It’s the conversations right after I step off stage.
It’s hearing how my story gave someone the courage to share theirs.
It’s knowing that in that room, someone felt seen, heard, or even healed.
That’s why I keep showing up.
That’s why I keep speaking.
And yes… I’ll still throw the confetti too. 🎉

Purpose isn’t something you pull out of thin air.
It’s something you pull out of the mud.
At Momentum Leaders Conference 2026, I shared a truth that has shaped my entire life:
Adversity isn’t something to avoid.
It’s something to lean into.
Because adversity doesn’t break you.
It reveals you.
It reveals your future identity
the person you become because you chose to rise.
You don’t overcome adversity by waiting for the perfect plan.
You overcome it when your why is strong enough…
because when your why is clear, the how finds a way.
That is how you become:
Resourceful. Resilient. Relentless.
These are not just words.
They are decisions.
Made in the moments when life tests you the most.
Deeply grateful to April Benetollo for creating a space where women rise instead of retreat.
And to every incredible woman in that room your presence, your courage, and your commitment to growth was powerful to witness.
This is what it looks like when people choose to become something greater than what they’ve been through.

Two weeks. Four C-suite events. Three time zones. One very full heart.
From Atlanta to San Francisco to Dallas (and back again), I had the privilege of facilitating rooms filled with brilliant leaders sharing ideas, challenges, and insights about the future of technology and leadership.
But one thing I know for sure about great events…
Energy matters.
The right energy can turn a room of strangers into a community. It can spark conversations that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. It keeps people leaning in instead of checking their phones.
Bringing that energy is a big part of my job, and I love every minute of it.
And here’s the truth. The only way I can show up fully for my speakers, the audience, and the community we’re creating in the room is by practicing what I preach.
Taking care of myself first.
When we prioritize our own happiness, wellbeing, and presence, we have so much more to give to others.
Grateful for the work. Grateful for the people. Grateful for the opportunity to help create spaces where leaders learn from one another.
And yes… grateful for strong coffee and a good carry-on.
