1. WHEN YOU LEARN THAT THE SETUP IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO MAKE YOU CHIPPING EASIER YOU WILL GET BETTTER AT GOLF. 2. IF YOU WANT TO HIT A LOW CHIP SHOT, you want to place the ball back in your stance an finish with low hands. 3. IF YOU WANT TO HIT NORMAL CHIP, you want to place the ball in the middle of your stance and finish normal, NOT to HIGH or LOW. 4. IF YOU WANT TO HIT A HIGH SHOT OR A FLOP SHOT, you want to have the ball on the front foot and finish with high hands. 5. AND ON THESE 3 DIFFERENT chips you want to swing the same, don’t try anything hard. Just swing normal. 6. YOU ALSO WANT TO VISUALISE the shot before you hit, this will help you making good decisions and feel confident. 7. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS, is how you hit the shot, it’s very important to commit to the shot you have chosen. This is because if you won’t commit it always ends as a bad shot. 8. YOU ALWAYS want to choose a shot that you feel confident with and a shot that you know you are good at. Don’t try anything hard you’re not comfortable with. Keep everything easy😁
The sign by the practice green at superstition springs golf club that says no chipping range balls does have a quote from Bill Lideen. If this is your first time here, this was all a joke.

For years, I thought getting better at golf simply meant spending more time at the range. More balls. More swings. More hours practicing. But over time, I realized that how you practice matters way more than how long you practice. So I completely changed the way I structure my training sessions. I now split my practice into different parts: 15 minutes of range work. I start by hitting balls and finding my rhythm. Nothing too complicated. I’m just getting loose, feeling the club and building some consistency. 15 minutes focused on performance. This is where I stop just hitting balls and start actually challenging myself. I create targets, change clubs, go through different scenarios and try to make every shot mean something. Basically, I try to make practice feel more like golf. 15 minutes of technique. Then I focus on one specific technical element I want to improve. The key is not trying to fix five things at once. One feeling, one movement, one objective. 15 minutes of mental game. And this is probably the part I neglected the most for years. I work on my routine, my focus, my reaction to bad shots, and my ability to stay present instead of thinking about the previous shot or the score. And then… I go play. Because at the end of the day, the range isn’t where you actually play golf. The real test is taking everything you worked on and transferring it to the course when you have an uneven lie, a bad lie, pressure over a short putt, water in front of you or a bad shot that you need to forget immediately. That’s when you find out if your practice actually worked. And honestly, this has completely changed the way I look at training. I don’t try to hit more balls anymore. I try to make every minute count. If I could go back and tell myself one thing 10 years ago, it would be this: Stop practicing golf like you’re trying to perfect your swing. Start practicing like you’re trying to become a better golfer. #golf #golfswing #golftips #golfpro #fyp
