Just because it feels cold, does not mean climate change isn't happening!!!! We are hitting record breaking temperature increases!! 🌡🤒🌍🌱 Video credits to @yearsofliving
🌡️Global Temperature on the Rise The planet is heating, and the numbers are alarming. Since 1880, average global temperatures have risen by 1.3°C, driven by industrialization, fossil fuels, and deforestation. Some regions are experiencing even greater increases. If we continue on this path, a 3°C rise is projected — a level that would trigger: 🔥 Extreme heatwaves and wildfires 🌊 Rising sea levels and coastal flooding 🌪️ More intense storms 🌱 Ecosystem collapse and biodiversity loss This is not a distant threat. Every fraction of a degree matters. Key takeaways: ✅ Climate change is measurable, real, and accelerating ✅ Impacts are global but unequal, hitting vulnerable communities hardest ✅ Without urgent action, food systems, water security, and livelihoods are at serious risk The path forward is clear: ⚡ Rapid transition to renewable energy 🚴 Sustainable transport and circular economy practices 🌍 Strong carbon reduction initiatives across governments, businesses, and communities Every action counts — the climate clock is ticking, and delays increase the risks to life on Earth. #climateaction #netzero #globalwarming #sustainability #climateemergency #1point5degrees #greeneconomy Credit: UN Climate Change
What happens when the clock hits 0 in 2029☠️☠️
Global temperatures are rising faster than ever. Scientists warn that 2026 could break another heat record. The climate crisis is no longer a future threat—it’s happening now. 🌡️ #ClimateChange #GlobalWarming #ClimateCrisis #Environment #Earth

The last 11 years have been the hottest years ever recorded. Earth’s energy imbalance has reached its highest than at any time in observed history, with heat reaching deeper into the ocean. 🌍 The Earth is heating faster than we expected… ⚠️ And we are running out of time. +0.35°C per decade since 2015 😳 🚨 1.5°C limit may be crossed before 2030 This is not future… this is NOW . 👉 Follow @your_pharm_d ❤️ Like | 🔁 Share | 💾 Save #globalwarming #climatechange #climatecrisis #earthfocus#pl
The climate crisis isn’t a distant warning anymore, it’s a present reality. Temperatures are rising, seasons are shifting, and extreme weather is becoming the new normal. What once felt gradual now feels urgent. Every heatwave, flood, wildfire, and drought is a reminder that the clock isn’t just ticking it’s accelerating. The choices we make today, as individuals, industries, and nations, will define the world we pass on tomorrow. This isn’t just about saving the planet. It’s about protecting livelihoods, health, food security, and future generations. The science is clear, the signals are loud, and the responsibility is shared. The question is no longer whether we act, but how fast we choose to. #ClimateCrisis #GlobalWarming #ActNow #Sustainability #FutureOfEarth ClimateAction
Temperatures all over the world are rapidly rising 🌡️📈 Climate pollution from coal, oil and gas is driving global heating that is endangering our lives, our communities, and our livelihoods. Climate change is exacerbating extreme weather events. We must do all we can to slash our climate pollution, in order to secure a safer world. Video source: NASA Science
🚨 Earth’s climate is increasingly out of balance — with the past 11 years the hottest on record. The latest report from the UN waether agency @wmo_omm confirms this stark reality, highlighting: 🌡️ Rising greenhouse gas concentrations are driving continued warming 🌊 Oceans are absorbing unprecedented levels of excess heat 🌪️ Extreme weather is disrupting lives and livelihoods worldwide These changes are accelerating — and their impacts will be felt for generations to come. On #WorldMeteorologicalDay, the message is clear: observing today is key to protecting tomorrow. 🌎 🔗 Visit Link in Bio to access the report: https://bit.ly/4c0hEPl
We’re being presented with a false choice here - climate targets or data centres. The alternative is obvious, data centres powered by new green energy sources - above and beyond current plans. We can oblige new data centres to make provision for their energy needs to come from new green sources - through the planning or other regulatory process. It’s inconceivable that we should choose between climate and data. And we don't need to. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/environment/article/ai-data-centres-uk-climate-change-7l5bwnmtd?gaa_at=eafs&gaa_n=AWEtsqdlnct0-JWwehtUZQfDCAYgmRTgpPz6at3ABrBQs5_rf81bmDVI4cGIzdflatg%3D&gaa_ts=699c2c71&gaa_sig=cAjIpK3ej_lux_xUXlgLVGGvVLTQRTQsaOdJCMh2GownYw29lXitFqiot_UgCLigiQNtU36dQZKmFbYEyvlcDw%3D%3D
Last week, we released a graph showing all the major global temperature records through 2025. Here's a more colorful way to show the same data. Inspired by Ed Hawkins "warming stripes" image collection, each bar is one year's temperature compared to the pre-industrial average, with the earliest years at the left and recent years on the right. Blue bars show years that were cooler than the 1850-1900 average; red bars show years that were warmer than average. The darker the color, the bigger the difference from average. Because of human-caused global warming, all data sources show more red bars than blue ones. The red bars get increasingly dark from left to right, as global warming has accelerated. Like the different lines on the graph, the bars have small differences from year to year, but they all agree on the long-term warming trend. #ShowYourStripes #ClimateForUs
