🚲 The Trail Is Disconnected—Can You Still Ride It?? Yes! But it takes a little “local knowledge.” 🗺️ The San Diego River Trail has some notable gaps, especially through the Mission Valley area. This video breaks down a roundtrip route you can use right now to get from OB Dog Beach all the way to Grant Park in Mission Valley. Safety Note: Ride with plenty of daylight, Wear high-vis clothing, Ride with a Partner. Want to see it in person? Join us! We’re riding this exact route on Friday, 3/13 from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM, starting at Old Town Transit Station with @circulatesd Why you should come: * 🚧 Navigate the Gaps: We’ll show you exactly where to jump off the trail and onto surface streets to bridge the disconnects safely. * 📍 West Valley Crossing:We’ll swing by the proposed crossing—the most critical link for a future connected trail. * 📊 Ride for a Cause: This is a Community Mobility Assessment with @sdriverparkfoundation. Your feedback helps us advocate for real infrastructure fixes! * 🛣️ Choose Your Distance: 5 miles (Trolley back from Rio Vista) or the full 10-mile roundtrip. 🔗 Link in bio to register OMAC Group Ride Events

The cities of North Salt Lake, Bountiful, Centerville, and Farmington are working together on the South Davis Greenway Feasibility Study to explore potential for a shared-use path that would connect communities, promote outdoor activity, and improve transportation options on the east side of I-15 in South Davis County. This initiative aims to fill a vital gap, offering residents a safe and accessible route for walking, biking, and rolling for both commuting and recreation, enhancing connection and mobility across the region. Stay tuned for updates as we plan for a more connected and active South Davis County. For more information, visit the South Davis Greenway website (link in bio).

Just south of the hustle and bustle of ASU’s main campus, neighbors have been coming together once a month to do something that appears simple from the outside looking in: bike to school. Despite benefits to physical and mental health as well as the environment, walking and biking to school is not common in many Arizona communities, mainly, due to (valid) safety concerns. However, over the past three years, Bike Bus Tempe has created safety in numbers and even accelerated Tempe biking and walking infrastructure projects — improving conditions for everyone in their City. In the process, they have helped build a more connected community; sparked joy in the lives of students and their parents and caregivers; and increased the visibility of cyclists. We are proud to share a glimpse of their story. Thank you @bike.bus.tempe Video produced by @gotheartandsoul
