Joyful (and visible!) aging is an act of rebellion and resistance to the culture & corporations selling us self-hatred! From How to Be a Rich Old Lady: “I achieve self-esteem by knowing that people can rely on me, and I genuinely believe that true fabulousness comes from creativity, resourcefulness, bravery, a sense of humor, and a willingness to embrace what is, not from trying to outrun time (or the women around me) with a credit card. And if I’m chasing admiration or respect through my consumption, the unintended consequence is that the people around me might feel the need to keep up. And that’s not the feeling I want to I want to be transmitting to my fellow Rich Old Ladies. I want all of us to get wrinkly and solve problems and put on weird little plays together. Pre-fashion show skincare routine from my grandma! Her first ever skincare routine video 🥹. I’ve been introducing so many new brands to her daily skincare and as a content creator i have so many selections she could try and choose whenever she’s visiting me. She really loves @fentybeauty makeup and @fentyskin too + of course @badgalriri ❤️ This year i introduced her to even more brands local and international so forgive me @haileybieber @rhode my 83 years old grandma thought we’re friends 🥲😂 hopefully we can meet you in the near future!
