Second Chance Runway 2025/26 saw TY students transform “junk” into breathtaking, high-fashion, and sustainable couture. The students were challenged to design, create, and model wearable art made entirely from 100% recycled materials. And the results were spectacular.

All day everyday 🤗 Collection development means full days working in the studios, but I’m loving the process. I have developed my technical skills quite significantly over the course of my FMP, exploring sustainable design concepts such as zero waste pattern cutting and modularity. I now have a broader awareness of fabrics, understanding their purpose and performance. I have been working with many technical fabrics, coated nylons, polyester, ripstop as well as more traditional fabrics, such as wool and waxed cotton to develop garments that align with both the purpose and the story behind my collection. #graduatefashionweek #student #fashiondesign #coventryuniversity
