I’m 62. These are the 7 habits that genuinely shifted my skin after 50 👇 (SAVE THIS)
🧊 1. A cold roller on my jaw every single morning.
The puffiness is gone before I even make my coffee.
🍃 2. My digestive enzyme + probiotic — every day, no exceptions.
I held off for so long before I finally tried it. Biggest mistake. Within a few weeks the change in my skin and energy was something I couldn’t explain away. After 50, our bodies make fewer digestive enzymes, so even good food passes right through without us truly absorbing it. Supporting my digestion from the inside is the one thing I’d never take off the table. (Link in bio 🧬)
☀️ 3. SPF reapplied at midday, not just in the morning.
The damage doesn’t happen at 7am. It happens in the hours nobody thinks to reapply.
💧 4. Water bottle with me from the moment I wake up.
Your face tells on you when you’re dehydrated. Long before anything else does.
🥩 5. Protein at every single meal — not just dinner.
Firm, supported skin is built in the kitchen. Not in a jar.
😴 6. The same bedtime, every night without negotiation.
Deep sleep is doing more for your skin than any cream on the market.
🚶♀️ 7. A daily walk outside with no headphones.
Circulation, natural light, and 20 minutes that are completely mine.
None of this is luck or genetics, lovely.
It’s just quiet habits, repeated long enough to show. ✨

I’m 77 — and these three cost me almost nothing, lovely:
😴 I sleep on my back with my head slightly raised. It stopped the morning puffiness and the deep sleep-lines I was blaming on age.
☕ I wait 90 minutes after waking before coffee. Drinking it too early spikes the very hormone that drains your energy by noon.
🌿 And the one that changed everything: as we age we make fewer digestive enzymes, so even good food leaves you heavy and bloated. My BioCore enzyme + probiotic with meals is when I finally felt light after eating again.

All 10 boring things i do at 63— no ice baths, no botox 👇 #6 is the one i’d never give up (SAVE THIS)
filming this one from the beach but the routine’s the same wherever i am. boring, mostly free, every single day:
☀️ 1. spf reapplied every 2 hours — not just one swipe at 8am. summer or not, ~90% of visible aging is sun. the most boring habit with the biggest payoff.
🐟 2. omega-3s (or oily fish) — they rebuild the skin’s own oil barrier so it holds water and looks plump, not flat.
🧂 3. electrolytes before coffee — water alone doesn’t hydrate. a pinch of salt + minerals does. plumper skin by 9am.
💤 4. magnesium at night — relaxes you into the deep sleep where your skin actually repairs.
🥩 5. 30g protein at every meal — collagen IS protein, and most women over 40 eat half what their skin needs to rebuild.
🔋 6. Thinbi NMN — the one I’d never give up. by 50 your cellular energy is nearly half gone, so skin cells run out of fuel to repair daily damage. This refuels them at the source. (the exact one i use each morning is linked in my bio 🧬)
🏊♀️ 7. a cold sea dip (or a cold rinse) — circulation + tighter, brighter skin, and it wakes you all the way up. free.
💪 8. creatine every day — not just for the gym. muscle is the anti-aging organ, and it keeps me strong and sharp.
🧴 9. collagen in my morning drink — gives the body the raw material, and it’s the easiest habit to actually stick to.
🌅 10. 10 min of early sunlight (then a hat at midday) — morning light sets your body clock; midday shade protects the skin you’re building.
None of it is sexy. That’s the whole secret.
send this to the friend who thinks aging well has to be complicated.

Disclaimer : I'm not a doctor. I'm just a 63-year-old grandmother who wants to stay strong and present for my grandkids. These are just the things that have helped me — sharing in case they help you too 💚

Thank you @ketofitjanet for this fun mobility challenge ! ❤️
I’m realizing as I get older how important mobility is. Mobility training helps with flexibility, increases range of movement helping us to stay active and healthy longer in life and most importantly it helps me to be more present when I have my young grandkids - playing on the floor , constantly getting up and down and squatting down to their eye level with no problem 😉

You asked for Part 2, so here it is 👇
🥑 1. They eat healthy fats on purpose
Avocado, olive oil, walnuts—almost every day. At 63, I stopped treating fat like the enemy. Healthy fats support the skin barrier and help meals feel more satisfying.
🌙 2. They use retinoids consistently at night
Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. Just a gentle routine they can actually stick with. Consistency matters more than constantly switching products.
💪 3. They lift weights
Not only cardio. Strength training supports muscle, posture, balance, and the way you carry yourself. That alone can change how youthful and confident you look.
🧘♀️ 4. They protect their nervous system like it is part of skincare
They set boundaries. They stop overexplaining. They understand that constant stress eventually shows up in their sleep, energy, posture, and face.
🛏️ 5. They protect their skin at night
Moisturizer, a few drops of facial oil when needed, and a soft pillowcase. Nothing magical—just less friction, less dryness, and a routine that helps them wake up looking rested.
🥩 6. They eat enough protein
Not only at dinner. Protein supports muscle and provides the building blocks the body uses throughout the day. Undereating and expecting to look firm and energized does not make sense.
🧬 7. They support cellular energy from within
This became one of the biggest shifts for me. At 63, I stopped expecting creams to do everything and made liposomal NAD+ part of my morning routine. NAD+ plays an important role in cellular energy, and supporting it became one of the daily habits I stay consistent with.
None of this is secret.
It is just simple habits repeated long enough to become part of who you are. 🤍
Comment BLUEPRINT and I’ll send you the exact NAD+ support I personally use. 💌

Gray hair transition in a blink! I sent that first video to @stagesofgrey well before I posted any videos to this page saying, “I think I’m really starting to see some progress!” 😂It felt like so much gray showing after hiding it for so long. 2 more years after that, and I was fully transitioned. Now, it’s hard to believe I’m approaching 4 years dye free. My hair has never felt healthier, and I’ve never felt more like me! If you’re embracing your silvers, where are you on your journey? 😍

91 YEARS YOUNG and Powering through a Park Workout! 💪🏼
My mom’s routine is a testament to the exercises we should all embrace for a life of independence and vitality🙌
How do you envision maintaining your own strength and independence as you age? 🤔

People often share that they think my attire ages me, that I dress too “old”… but the funny thing is that I dress very differently from all of the elderly folks I know. They’re in leggings and tunic tops, jeans and various casual kinds of tops. I’m not dissing that style of dress at all, but it’s just not me. Vintage is me. Even if it somehow makes me look old. 🤭 #aging #aginggracefully #vintagestylenotvintagevalues #nanalovesyou
These exercises are crucial for seniors’ quality of life and longevity because they target key aspects of functional fitness. Sit to stand enhances mobility and independence in daily activities. Heel and toe raises improve ankle strength and balance, reducing the risk of falls. Balancing on one leg enhances stability and proprioception, crucial for preventing falls. Hip flexor strengthening through marching in place aids in maintaining mobility and stability in the hips, essential for walking and posture. Wall push-ups build upper body strength, which supports activities like lifting objects and maintaining posture, promoting overall physical resilience and longevity.
