What does it look like when you write up your boss?
That’s what @amazonteamsters at KSBD did to our building’s top boss, Ruben, who took the time recently to try to surveil and intimidate workers who were approaching our union’s table. At the table, @amazonteamsters were talking about our union’s ICE OUT OF AMAZON petition.
The National Labor Relations Board recently forced Amazon to acknowledge that we can have tables (“structures” in Amazon HR lingo) in non work areas to organize our union. Other Amazon Teamsters have tabled recently without a problem.
So why is Ruben trying to step on workers rights by caring about our table now? Why is Amazon afraid of its workers coming together to ask that the company stop collaborating with ICE?
As you can see, KSBD Amazon Teamsters aren’t about backing down from management’s illegal behavior.
We are joining the Amazon Teamsters! We are demanding that Amazon recognize our union at DBK1 and give us a fair contract because we need changes! So we’ve decided we’re going to BE the change we want to see. Amazon Teamsters are also taking our power back from Amazon and using it to speak up for ourselves and our coworkers by picketing to stop unfair labor practices. If we can do it, you can too! Join the fight! #AmazonTeamsters
#repost • @amazonteamsters Our union is fighting for job security. Amazon shouldn’t be able to make BILLIONS of dollars off of our backs only to discard us whenever they like. That’s why we are on Unfair Labor Practice strike — to show them that it is NOT okay! As workers we stand UNITED in fighting for our union contract to make sure this won’t happen again! #AmazonTeamsters
Workers of the world unite! ✊
DCWP spoke with @amazonteamsters about May Day, the Protected Time Off Law, and organizing their workplace.

@amazonteamsters in New York City are about to pass the Delivery Protection Act, a new law that holds corporations accountable if they threaten public safety.
Now Amazon is spending millions of dollars to intimidate lawmakers into selling out everyday New Yorkers by putting corporate profits before common-sense public safety standards.
Don’t be swayed by Amazon’s lies. Stand with New York City workers in supporting the Delivery Protection Act!

We the drivers of DCX7 and DDO6 have organized a union and joined the Amazon Teamsters! We need safety, better pay and a voice on the job. We will get those things AS A UNION! Amazon ducks and dodges their responsibility to us by pointing the fingers at the DSPs. We all know Amazon actually calls the shots and we won’t allow them to tell us otherwise. We want what we deserve! #AmazonTeamsters
SIGN PETITION W/ LINK IN BIO:
We are Amazon warehouse workers, drivers, and tech workers (@amazonteamsters and @amznworkersforclimate) outraged by the violence perpetrated by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and the Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP).
Amazon Web Services recently earned 64 million dollars in contracts with ICE and CBP, but its own workers are living in fear. Many of us are immigrants, and many of us come from immigrant families. We worry about our safety and our loved ones’ safety.
Our fears are well-founded.
ICE has overtly racially profiled, harassed, and attacked countless people in its efforts to meet its quotas. Last year in Texas, an ICE agent killed Amazon worker Ruben Ray Martinez, though a sworn witness said he was simply trying to follow the agent’s order to leave. Recently in Detroit, ICE abducted two Amazon FLEX drivers who were just trying to do their jobs. Corporate and logistics workers alike who live in targeted neighborhoods have begun carrying our passports everywhere, have stopped traveling alone, and have stopped doing the things we enjoy, simply because we don’t know if we will be next.
Amazon needs to take a stand against this and commit to protecting its own workers.
We demand Amazon:
1. Protect all Amazon workers, from warehouse workers and drivers to tech workers. ICE and CBP will never be let into Amazon offices or facilities without a judicial warrant.
2. Prohibit Amazon warehouses from being used as, or sold to become, detention centers.
3. Drop AWS’s contracts with ICE and CBP.
4. Commit to supporting workers whose status changes under rapidly shifting immigration laws.
Stand with @amazonteamsters @amazonlaborunion as they escalate this holiday season.
#repost• @amazonteamsters Not us and not our coworkers! We aren’t alone!
