I posted the other day about why we don’t use AI for our product photography and y’all were clapping in agreement!!🤣 ✨I did just wanted to clarify that I understand why some people do and no shade against you for it but I just wanted to let our followers know that we personally don’t. ✨ Trust me though, the temptation is there so I understand. When I think I could show someone hiking Mount Katahdin with a Scotty + Calvin Sticker on their water bottle, that sounds super rad! But I know it would be fake and scrolling on the internet these days feels like a giant game of “what’s real?” already. 🤪 It got me thinking about creatives in general and how we’re all navigating this new AI world. How photographers must feel about seeing AI product photography … and writers having entire books written via AI, and artists being told they charge too much when AI can design something for free in seconds. Trust me I also feel like junk when a store tells me no to doing wholesale because they have stickers and then I see the stickers and they’re very obviously not artisan made. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So my question is where have you noticed AI impacting you in your field and are you excited about the technology or ticked? I human made this song, with my human voice, and my human fingers playing the piano a few months back oh and also ~~~ AI absolutely SUCKS !!!!!!! and as an artist I've never been more afraid of the stealing and witch hunt going on, there has to be~ HAS TO BE~ regulations and rules if we want to protect artists, the worlds we create, and our world too. The mistake was teaching a machine that in order to survive it had to literally STEAL from authors, artists, musicians, from our earth, our land and our water. And all it knows and all it wants is to replace and copy. I'm tired, and as artists we are damn tired. #artistsagainstai #humanmade #aisucks

AI has absolutely no place in art. Art is the physical expression of the human soul, and AI does not have a soul, so it is fundamentally incapable of producing art. AI is already at a point where it's genuinely very hard to tell what's real and what's not sometimes, and that's a scary thing. It needs to be stopped. It’s especially disheartening to see educators and librarians using a technology that is so against everything they represent. AI tech cos are anti-community, anti-literacy, anti-book, writer, artist… anti-human! Please, for the love of everything, put down the ChatGPT. We see you. We acknowledge you. We love you. I promise you don’t need to throw the rest of us under the bus by using a technology is so devastatingly unethical. I take no joy in using these examples, but you’ve already given away all your privacy. If you think me using these examples is bad, then you really won’t like what big tech is doing to your photos and data. And this “caricature” is not you. This is a soulless amalgamation of your data. Every time true artists create a movement, scammers want to come in and capitalize off of it. The point of print clubs is to get a break from the digital world, to go back to analog methods of communication and support human artists. A lot of us started our print clubs because we were fed up with AI. So to see these people creating print clubs with AI logos, sending out AI slop, it’s disgusting. And if you’re not telling people that you will be sending them AI, you are a scam artist. AI is plagiarizing the work of artists and supporting it is harmful to the community. You are co-opting a movement made for artists and then stealing their work to make a profit. Luhhhhoooozerrrr. I swear this thing is indestructible 😂 I also was using it until probably close to 2020, cause I didn't get my first phone until I was 18, and I didn't love using my kindle for everything 🤣 I was probably one of the only people actually using an ipod touch gen 4 in 2020 lol. #ipod #antiai #noai #artistsagainstai #2010s
