Job market is not looking the best, but you can complain and be a victim of it or realise you are in control and can do something about it. Here are the 3 things you should be doing to survive this AI era. 1. Specialise and become great in one area. AI is far from reaching AGI, so you have to do things whic AI can’t do and these are the super hard technical things, so dive deep and keep learning even if it takes years or decades. 2. Branch off into other creative pursuits. For me that’s content creation, for you that could be music, art, videos. People don’t engage well with AI slop, they’re looking for actual creatives, people to connect with, be that person. 3. Leverage AI tools. You have no idea what truly is possible with AI. So instead of being a victim of it, make sure you’re on the other side and utilising it before it replaces you. It can code, work as your personal manager, keep you in the loop. Start learning.
