🌏⛏️ A MONTH OF ADVENTURE WITH FREE2ROAM! 💛
What a month it’s been! From chasing gold in the Western Australian Goldfields to taking a well-earned break by the coast, the last few weeks have been packed with adventure, surprises and plenty of memories. 🏕️🚙✨
We’ve spent countless hours swinging the detectors, digging deep targets and wondering that all-important question… GOLD OR JUNK? 😜⛏️
The new GPZ 8000 has certainly been put through its paces, and along the way we’ve uncovered some beautiful gold, interesting rocks, old-timer relics and plenty of targets that kept us guessing!
There have been creek beds, gullies, rocky hillsides, ironstone, quartz and greenstone — all the things that make prospecting so exciting. And sometimes the best finds come when you least expect them! 💛
We’ve also taken time to slow down, enjoy some R&R by the coast, indulge in a few special treats and appreciate the incredible Australian landscape around us. 🌊🌅
And of course, life on the road wouldn't be complete without a few unexpected challenges along the way! 😂
Through it all, one thing remains the same…

The road winds on and on out here in Outback Queensland, and that’s exactly why I love it. Long drives through this ancient landscape reveal endless horizons and ever-changing light. One minute, you’re weaving through red sand dunes, the next you’re surrounded by emerald-green plains teeming with life after the floods. It’s about slowing down, taking it all in, and realising that the journey is the destination. The Outback has a way of reminding you how good it feels to just drive, to wander, to discover. @lotus_caravans
