Erickson made the trip back to Houston from NOLA to join us at the dyno day and show off his beautiful ZL1 Camaro that was built and tuned by @theshedtuningandperformance. We tore the motor down and freshened it up with new bearings and ARP hardware, opened up the ring gap ready for more boost. It has a BTR Stage 1 cam and Magnuson 2650 blower, long tube headers into the factory exhaust. We’re at the limit of the stock fuel system with this combo but we tweaked it on the day and squeezed an extra 50whp. #Theshedtuningandperformance #powerfabautosport

Kenneth’s 2015 ZL1 with Twin Turbo Kit. We cut the hood exit’s replaced O2 sensor and connector, fixed two spark plug wires, installed the fuel crossover for the fuel rails, installed his IAT sensor, and Dyno Tune.

Then we turned it up and made 1188whp on 21psi but were blowing out spark and stock transmission said hellno @strayedfabrication turbo kit worked great. Quad-Cam 6.0L Shootout. No, it’s not a DOHC 6.0L LS, though how cool would that be? The Quad Cam refers to four different cams tested-from mild to wild! The cams tested on the LY6 (VVT was removed) included a stock (non VVT) LQ4 cam (467/479, 196/201, 116), an LS3 cam (551/525, 204/211, 117), a TFS (Elgin) Sloppy Stage 2 (585, 228/230, 112) and a Comp 54-469-11 (617/624, 231/247, 113). Tested on the rec-port headed LY6, the stock LQ4 cam produced 443 hp and 467 lbs-ft. The LS3 cam stepped the numbers up to 472 hp and 469 lbs-ft. The SS2 managed 514 hp and 493 lbs-ft. The wildest 469 can produced 543 hp and 491 lbs-ft. Check out the full vid on my channel.
