As a first time cruiser I can’t wait to see what it’s all about and I’m pinching myself that my first experience will be so boutique and luxury. Just stepped off a ship inspection on Azamara Onward and wow… what a beautiful boutique cruise experience. 🚢✨ Think smaller ship luxury, incredible service, and the ability to visit ports the big ships simply can’t reach. The atmosphere onboard is relaxed, elegant and genuinely welcoming, perfect for travellers who want something a little more special than the typical cruise. Travel Tip Tuesday-What is it like to cruise on an Azamara ship? It is AzAmazing!! The smaller ship is wonderful. It’s smaller but still lots to do. The food was good. I didn’t feel the need to do one of their 2 speciality dining options. There were lots of places to sit and have a drink and listen to music. The crew were all friendly and available to the guests. The cabins might be a tiny bit smaller but totally functional with space and storage. The balcony was a nice size with a big table and 2 chairs. My one main issue was the tiny shower with shower curtain, but it did work and the bathroom has good storage. The only interesting fact was that they don’t always stop at regular ports. Sometimes the ports are working shipping areas so if you are doing a 3rd party tour, make sure you know exactly which port you will be at and if it’s mandatory to take their shuttle to a certain part of the city. In the end, I had a marvellous time on Amazara. We met some wonderful people and made some wonderful memories. It’s a totally different experience being on a smaller ship. I am so glad that I had this opportunity to try it and I would definitely go on Azamara again! #cruisinwithjackie #azamara #traveltheworld #traveltiptuesday✈️ #cruisinglife

Next month I am very excited to be spending four days on board the beautiful Azamara Quest, and I thought I would bring you along for the journey. I will be sailing from Seville to Gibraltar, before finishing in Malaga to fly home. Along the way I will be experiencing Azamara’s “Always Included” offering first hand. That means I will be trying a variety of dining venues, plus 24‑hour room service, and enjoying included alcoholic and soft drinks. I will also be finding out what their signature AzAmazing Evenings are all about, as well as checking out all the other facilities on board. Azamara really focuses on overnights and extended stays in unique, often iconic destinations, avoiding big‑ship crowds and offering the warm, attentive service they are known for. I will also be in classroom sessions as part of their Seminar at Sea, learning in detail about everything Azamara has to offer, as well as experiencing the ship for myself.
