Black Owned Fragrance Week 2026 update.
Dear Fragrance Community,
As we anticipate this year’s Black Owned Fragrance Week 1-7 February, we want to share with you an important update about our 2026 restructuring.
Through your continued support and engagement, BOFW’s global reach, expectations, and impact have grown phenomenally. To operate at this capacity, our small team looks forward to partnerships and collaborations that will help us continue to curate the future of BOFW responsibly and sustainably.
For 2026, we invite and welcome you to activate your own BOFW celebrations, as our typical public-facing format will be on hiatus as we continue to build support for Black-owned fragrance brands behind-the-scenes.
This is an intentional shift, focused on strengthening the framework and partnerships needed for the next phase of BOFW.
BOFW is not ending. Nor is this a setback or a handing-off.
We hope you will see this year as an opportunity to activate independently during the first week of February, without centralized coordination or approval.
This remains a meaningful time to tell your story, to generate visibility, to connect with the community, and to drive real sales, just like other recognized moments throughout the year.
We encourage you to include our hashtags in your posts, interviews, and other activations so that fragrance enthusiasts in the virtual space can share or repost. If you are not already signed up to our email list, please do so at:

Warmest Regards,
Glenn Davis, aka Mrcologne76, BOFW Founder
& The BOFW Team.
