Because who surprises you with this much for free? 🤷🏽‍♀️ I think I’ve completed my quota for hearing the word “free”, and budget backpackers will understand exactly why that feels so good. The funny thing is, a lot of this isn’t even something you see listed when booking a hostel. So I wasn’t expecting it. And lately, every time I check into a hostel and feel well looked after, I automatically compare it with what I’ve experienced back home. It’s the little things: a free towel, locker, walking tour, pub crawl, laundry space… even the way someone talks to you and shows you around. Those things matter when you’re travelling on a budget. Hostels like Brownstone aren’t just places to sleep.
