The top 2️⃣ teams in the Bay Area finally face off 🏆
I had the opportunity to guest play for Bay Area Surf’s 2016G Academy team during the Rush Cup tournament, and it was an incredible experience. I really enjoyed competing alongside such a talented and determined group of girls. We battled through every game and made it all the way to the finals. The championship match came down to penalty kicks, and for the first time, I was truly put to the test. With the pressure on, I managed to block enough shots, and my teammates stepped up to score the goals we needed to bring home the win!! #rc22 #goalie #bayareasurf #lolz #doitforthebay

Era julio de 2015 en la final del J-Bay Open en #Sudáfrica, y mientras el australiano esperaba una ola, un #tiburón se le acercó. Fanning, sorprendido, golpeó al tiburón y usó su tabla para defenderse. Las cámaras captaron todo en vivo. 🎥😱 Julian Wilson, también en la final, mostró un increíble coraje al remar hacia Fanning para ayudarlo. Ambos fueron rescatados rápidamente por el equipo de seguridad.
