Q: I’m struggling to choose a product to sell
This one phrase helped me when I first started:
The thing you sell today doesn’t have to be the thing that defines you.
Selling creates clarity on where you are going.
Think about
Hershey’s chocolate -> started with caramel
Amazon -> started with a bookstore
Wrigley’s gum -> started with baking soda and soap.
I started with leftover crafting supplies.
When you start, sell anything you can get your hand on as it gives you a direction (and an education) as you figure out what ya do and don’t wanna do.
I sold clothing, and I didn’t like that, so I stopped.
I sold cupcake liners, and I liked that, so I kept going.
Let go of that thought that you have to nail it on the first round or the feeling that the thing you sell will be what you must do for the rest of your life.
Get out there, serve customers, and make those #canwins!
