Always great to see @hayleyrsimmonds @ribbleoutliers Buxumbox hitting the road - or more accurately gravel! - for another racing adventure. That Heather Violet colour really pops! #buxumbox #flyyourbike #bikebox #biketravel #cycletravel
When a brand supports you for who you are, not just what you post, it hits different!
So…this is me “casually” unboxing the @shokbox Pro (translation: already mentally packing it for the next trip)
Massive thanks to Shok Box for sorting me out for the adventures ahead 🌍
This isn’t just a box, it’s the start of a lot of stories yet to happen.
Right then, where are we going first? Oh, Iceland!? Sounds good to me!

Don’t stop in the bike box. It’s for bicycles. Not cars.

Walizka na rower @bw_casesofsuccess Bike Box 2.0 pozwala na bezpieczny transport roweru. Przetestowałem, rower jest cały i zdrowy. Do biletu lotniczego trzeba dokupić bagaż sportowy - z opcją przewozu roweru limit wagowy to 30kg, więc można dodatkowo przywieść kask, buty, lampki, bidony, inne rowerowe akcesoria i nie tylko. Zaleca się wypuścić powietrze z opon. Nie można przewozić rowerów elektrycznych. Na lotnisku spotkałem kilku Ironmanów, a przynajmniej mieli takie koszulki.

as alwayssss @londonbikebox sorting me out with a bike box to take my bike away with me
anyway / if you’re planning on taking your bike away with you soon or thinking about doing it this summer & you haven’t done it before / hopefully this will help :)
a really quick checklist on packing your road bike into a bike box alan easyfit
1 / shift into small chainring + smallest rear cog (helps protect the gears)
2 / remove pedals (I always put these in a small bag with any other loose parts)
3 / take wheels off, put thru axle back in + add disc brake spacers
4 / strap wheels in box + let a bit of air out of the tyres
5 / place frame in box + strap in + add padding or bubble wrap to protect it all
it’s soooo quick & easy with this box, you don’t need to remove/adjust handlebars or the seat post (at least this is the case with my size bike, it might need a few more adjustments for larger size bikes just fyi)
if you think i missed anything, let me know 🧚🏼
hope this helps :)
