‼️remember these totals were for TWO people. The total budget came out to $618 per person for the whole vacation. Without the two guided tours and one high end dinner (fancy tasting menu) for our anniversary, this can easily been $375pp for the vacation instead of you are on a budget.
💡Other Bodrum travel tips to consider:
• we were already in Turkey for our trip so add on flights from your home airport if going straight there. If already in Turkey it was so cheap and quick to fly Pegasus to get to Bodrum airport (way better than the long bus ride)
• again 2 of our dining experiences were on the higher end bc it was our anniversary so you could almost reduce that restaurant budget by half if that doesn’t matter to you. Same goes for alcohol: bottles of wine are absurdly expensive at these restaurants and you could just go to the supermarket for it instead.
• a significant cost in our excursions came from a huge day trip to Ephesus. Most people visit Ephesus from Izmir, but we didn’t have time to visit Izmir so instead we found a guided tour from Bodrum.

SAVE THIS IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT BODRUM, TURKEY 🇹🇷
I just came back from visiting Bodrum, Turkey. It’s a gorgeous coastal town in the southeastern part of the country, known as the Miami of Turkey. It’s a bit more expensive than in other parts of Turkey too so be aware. Some resorts here go for $3,000 a night 🥵
Here are some things I suggest you do while you’re there!
🏝 Visit the beach - Gombet beach & Bitez Beach
🧖🏾♀️ Do a Turkish bath - I went to Sultan Turkish Bath
⛴ Go on a boat tour - you can book through @exentravel - I did one from 10 am - 5 pm and had the time of my life swimming in the crystal clear sea. I paid €20
🛍 If you like to shop, Bodrum Centre is filled with all the clothes, bags, shoes & souvenirs you can ask for
🏰 If learning about history excites you, Bodrum Castle is the place for you!
Bonus: You can also take a boat over to the island of Kos in Greece - this way you can see two countries during your trip 🇬🇷
By the way, the hotel featured in this video is called A’la Grande Residence. It was $112/night for a place that sleeps four. I’ll do a full review if you want it!
