The reason these 4 exercises grow your arms👇🏾: 1️⃣. Rope Hammer Curls These hit the brachialis, the muscle that sits under your biceps and actually makes your arms look thicker. Control the weight and squeeze at the top. 2️⃣. Barbell Curls A classic for a reason. This is one of the best movements for overall bicep mass. Go heavy, keep your elbows locked in, and focus on full range. 3️⃣. Preacher Curls Perfect for isolating the biceps and eliminating momentum. If you want that full bicep peak, slow the reps down and control the negative. Do these right, get stronger every week, and your arms will grow. If you’re a skinny guy struggling to build size, DM “CHANGE” and I’ll show you how to build the body and discipline you’ve been chasing. Day 7 Your arms might not be small. But if your biceps still don’t pop from the front, they look underbuilt. Most people think bigger biceps come from doing random curls. But real bicep development comes from training the arm with structure: Lengthened tension. Mass-building curls. Controlled contraction. And thickness through the brachialis. Run this: 1️⃣ Incline Dumbbell Curl – 3×8–12 2️⃣ EZ-Bar Curl – 3×8–10 3️⃣ Preacher Curl – 3×10–12 4️⃣ Hammer Curl – 3×10–12 Control the eccentric. Train through full range. Progress the load. Build biceps that actually change how your arms look with CONNEFI 🔥. Save this for your next bicep day. #biceps #bicepworkout #armworkout #hypertrophy #biggerarms
Hammer Curl vs Bicep Curl — What’s the Difference? Hammer Curl (Neutral Grip) Keeping your palms facing each other shifts more emphasis to the brachialis and brachioradialis. The brachialis sits underneath the biceps and pushes it upward as it grows, which can make your arms look thicker and wider from the front. Bicep Curl (Supinated Grip) When you rotate your palm upward during the curl, the biceps muscle is placed in a stronger position to contract. This emphasizes the biceps brachii, which helps create the “peak” of the bicep that becomes visible when you flex your arm. The takeaway: If you want fully developed arms, include both variations in your training. One helps improve the bicep peak, while the other helps build overall arm thickness. Save this post for your next arm workout and try both variations. #gym #fitness #biceps #explore #reels
Can’t Grow Your Arms? Maximize Bicep Growth by Training ALL 3 Key Muscles! 💪🔥 Most guys think it’s all about curls—but if you want bigger, more defined arms, you need to train all 3 of these: ⚡ Short Head – Adds width and fullness from the front ⚡ Long Head – Builds that tall, eye-catching peak ⚡ Brachialis – Sits between your biceps and triceps, pushing your biceps up for that 3D look Here are 3 of the best exercises to target each one and finally build arms that pop. 🔥 Share this with a friend who’s been training arms with no gains! The biceps have two heads (hence the prefix “bi”) the long head and the short head. There is also another muscle called the brachialis, which technically isn’t part of the bicep but still contributes to overall arm development. All bicep exercises will involve both heads to some extent. The difference is simply which head gets emphasized more depending on the position of the arm and the exercise being performed. The short head is the inner portion of the bicep and tends to be emphasized more with movements like preacher curls. The long head is the outer portion of the bicep and is often emphasized more with exercises like incline dumbbell curls. The brachialis sits underneath the biceps between the bicep and tricep. Developing it can add overall arm thickness and help the biceps appear larger since it pushes the bicep upward. Hammer curls are a common exercise used to emphasize the brachialis.
⬇️ Save this for your next workout Similar movement pattern but different results.. Hammer Curl • Targets brachialis + forearms • Builds thickness to the upper arm • Neutral grip (palms facing in, knuckles out) • Helps your arms look bigger from the side Bicep Curl (Supinated) • Targets biceps (long + short head) • Builds the “peak” of the bicep • Palms facing up, supination = think 'holding a cup of soup' ➡️ Share with a friend if useful & follow @pt.shine for fat loss & muscle building tips _____ . . #hammercurl #bicepsworkout #armworkouts #armday #workouttips
