Have you preordered HOW TO SAVE DEM🇺🇸: THE ANTI-AUTHOR. PLAYBOOK?
Because, really, you should.
Linktree above. So easy.
🌟
And have you been over to my SUBSTACK? (Linktree!)
Because— not trying to be a hero —but beyond finishing this important book and doing daily reels here, I’m posting chunks of the book plus personal essays I’m producing regularly for you, too.
🌟
All to say that you’re warmly welcome here, and I’m grateful for you.
🌟
I could easily post five times a day (you’ve noticed there’s that much material to address, right?), but I’m pacing myself.
🌟
I have the finals of this meaty, fascinating, practical and (I hope) inspiring book on my largest computer screen right now. And my sincerest prayer is that it makes a difference in your life.
🌟
For now, we have 3 more Hallmarks of the authoritarian playbook in this series:
9) Corrupting Elections
10) Plundering Wealth
11) Stoking Chaos & Violence.
🌟
Come back! I’ll be back.

Book hoarder? I think you mean book HERO.
After (2019) is based on Anna Todd's self-published Wattpad story that got over a billion reads before it even became a book. The story started as One Direction fan fiction with Harry Styles as the main character before being rewritten into original characters. Hero Fiennes Tiffin was cast as Hardin Scott after a worldwide search and became an instant obsession for an entire generation. The film was made on a $14 million budget and grossed over $69 million worldwide — proving that fan-driven stories have real power in Hollywood. Four sequels followed because the fanbase refused to let it go. If you grew up on Wattpad you already know this story felt personal in a way no other romance movie did 😭🎬

In this humorous viral clip, a news anchor delivers a sign-off that has become a classic "fail" for comic book fans. She asks the audience for their favorite Marvel Comics hero, only to name Superman—a flagship character for Marvel's rival, DC Comics. To double down on the mix-up, she attributes the famous "With great power, comes great responsibility" motto to him, though it is famously associated with Marvel's Spider-Man.
The video features an overlaid text caption that reads, "She really said this on national television 😭," capturing the internet's collective disbelief at the triple-threat of inaccuracies. As she smiles warmly at the camera, oblivious to the errors, the clip cuts to a scenic shot of a city skyline, leaving viewers to chuckle at the confidently delivered misinformation.

Skills: 0% — Enthusiasm: 100% 😝 2nd session doing Muay Thai down @badcompanygym with @gymking JEDI coach @lisabadco and still terrible, but that’s kind of the point. Because my new book How to Hero goes into detail about the anterior midcingulate cortex (AMCC) — the part of the brain responsible for persistence, discipline, and pushing through discomfort when you’re learning something new.
The interesting part is that it doesn’t develop when you’re comfortable or competent. It develops when you’re struggling, when nothing feels natural yet, and when quitting would be easier than continuing.
So this isn’t really about getting good at Muay Thai (not yet anyway). It’s about rewiring my brain in the off season — building that ability to stay in the uncomfortable, to keep showing up when I’m not good at something, and to train persistence rather than just performance. That’s the power of neuroscience: sometimes the worst sessions are doing the most work.
(Also for those who missed it) comment “BOOK” to join my book club and I’ll DM you the Contents Page that details the 25 lessons in hardship and resilience! Then EVERY week I will be releasing a sneak preview of EACH chapter that details studies, stories and teachings in neuroscience, philosophy and psychology ⚔️ PRE ORDER now and get a FREE signed poster (see link in bio) 📚
