The breath the whirling dervishes used to spin into ecstasy. 🌀
Sufi breathing is continuous and rhythmic — no pause, often with sound and movement — built to quiet the mind and crack the heart wide open. You don't need to whirl; just follow the rhythm and let it carry you out of your head and into your heart.
Breathe with me.

Breathwork doesn’t have to be boring ⚡️
6.7 million of you saw the green thing and panicked.
No it is not an inhaler. No it is not a vape.
It is an inspiratory muscle trainer. It strengthens the muscles you breathe in with, the same way you would train any other muscle in your body.
If you get breathless walking up stairs, talking, or under stress, those muscles are likely weak and undertrained. The good news is they respond fast to the right training.
Comment GREEN and I will send you my free guide on how to start, completely free. #breathwork #breathingexercises #airhunger #inspiratorymuscletraining #powerbreathe
The stressful moment is already over, but your body is still wired: heart pounding, thoughts racing, relaxing just isn't happening. That's how adrenaline works, it doesn't clear instantly, and the body needs help to switch over.
4-7-8 breathing is considered one of the best known recovery techniques, and for good reason. The inhale for 4 fills the lungs, the hold for 7 allows time for full gas exchange, and the exhale for 8, twice as long as the inhale, activates the vagus nerve, the nervous system's main brake. Studies of this technique record a drop in heart rate, blood pressure and anxiety after just a few cycles.
The result is in the captions: stress relief, balance, recovery.
The count: inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8, moving along the triangle, 3–4 rounds. Save this for the moment you need to pull yourself together fast 🤍

🔱 BEFORE MAKING ANY BIG DECISION… CHECK YOUR NOSTRIL 👃
Your breath isn’t random… it’s guiding you.
🧘♂️ In yogic science, your breath flows through 2 energies:
🌙 LEFT NOSTRIL (Ida Nadi)
→ Calm, intuitive, emotional
→ Best for love decisions ❤️, deep thinking, creativity, spiritual work
☀️ RIGHT NOSTRIL (Pingala Nadi)
→ Active, logical, action-driven
→ Best for business 💰, important calls, confidence-based decisions
⚖️ Your mindset CHANGES with your breath:
Left active = emotional choices
Right active = logical choices
🚨 So choosing at the wrong time = wrong energy = wrong decision
✨ SECRET:
When BOTH nostrils flow (Sushumna Nadi)
→ Mind becomes balanced
→ Logic + intuition align
→ BEST time for life-changing decisions 💫
🔍 Just check your breath before deciding… it reveals your inner state.
🌌 Your breath is your hidden guide.

How old are your lungs?? Let me know ⬇️
Breathe out as long as you possibly can and watch where you land on the scale. Go on … I’ll wait 😆
Here’s why it matters: your lungs peak in your mid-20s, then quietly decline around 1–2% every year. And how long and how strong you can exhale is one of the most overlooked markers of health there is… lung capacity is one of the best predictors of how long you’ll live.
This is a bit of fun, not a medical test. But the principle is bang on. The good news? Unlike your real age, your lung age isn’t fixed. You can train it back down with what I hear you say?!!Breathwork of course! actually using your full exhale instead of the shallow chest breathing most of us live in. It’s something we train in our Mind Gym. Comment MIND to join for Free.
And let me know what age did you get? Drop it below 👇 (be honest 😅) and save this to test again in 30 days. Bet you can move the needle esp if you do the Mind Gym training 👌🏼

3-6-9 is sometimes called “the sleep breath” because some people report falling asleep within 1-2 minutes of practicing it. Here’s why it works: the short 3-second inhale prevents the over-breathing that usually fuels anxiety, the 6-second hold builds enough CO2 to dilate blood vessels and improve oxygen delivery to your brain, and the 9-second exhale is one of the longest vagal nerve activations you can do in a single breath. The ratio (1:2:3) is also one of the most mathematically clean breath patterns in existence. It’s not magic, but it’s one of the most underrated tools for racing thoughts and sleeplessness.
What you might notice in around 2 minutes:
1. Racing thoughts slow: the long exhale interrupts the loop at the source.
2. Less anxiety on the inhale: short inhales calm panic instead of feeding it.
3. Heavier eyelids: this breath is one of the strongest natural sleep primers.
4. Calmer chest: tension melts where you’ve been holding it all day.
5. A reset you can do in bed without needing to sit up.
Do it with me (3 rounds):
Inhale 3 (through your nose, smooth but deep) → hold 6 (tongue/face relaxed) → exhale 9 (through your nose or preferably mouth, soft and full)
If the 6-second hold feels tight, scale to 2/4/6 and build from there. The ratio matters more than the count.
Save this for when you need it and share with someone that could benefit - they will thank you!
