Site progress update. The mezzanine is officially up and the second floor expansion is taking shape. Steel is in, beams are set, and structural is locked in as we create additional square footage for new classrooms. This phase is all about maximizing vertical space and planning for long term functionality. Clean execution, tight coordination, and zero shortcuts. Next stage coming up. We will be removing a two ton safe door. This will require specialized planning, rigging, and a lift. Not a small move. Stay tuned for the next update as this build continues. The electrical system for my self-converted van is now fully installed, thanks to the incredible team at @jcautoelectrical1! Based down in Bristol, Josh did an absolutely amazing job! I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. While I’m aiming to do as much of this van build as I can on my own, when it comes to electrics, I knew it was best to call in a professional. Not only do I now have complete peace of mind, but I also received a full safety certificate from these guys. I’m so impressed with how clean and tidy everything looks. If you’re curious about my setup, here’s what I’ve got: 🔋 300Ah @fogstardrift battery ⚡ @victron_energy 3000VA MultiPlus inverter/charger 🔗 Linked distributor 🔌 50A DC-to-DC charger ☀️ @renogyofficial 300W of solar on the roof 🏠 Mains hook up It’s a great setup, definitely a bit of a hefty kit. Since switching it on, I haven’t dropped below 95% battery, and yes, that includes blow-drying my hair! If you’re working on a van conversion, I highly recommend checking out JC Auto Electrical. They don’t just specialise in electrics — they also install windows, fans, skylights, and plumbing systems. I’ll be heading back to them soon to get my plumbing sorted.
