In order for a state to count, we have to spend the night and do some type of activity.

I still can’t believe this happened! We were so grateful Love’s had a dedicated, official RV dump station tucked off to the side away from the truck lanes so we could legally empty our tanks for just $10.
Finding an affordable, clean RV dump station on a long road trip is an absolute lifesaver for RV life and bus life.
Then, out of nowhere, someone walking from the dog park marched over furiously insisting it was an illegal health hazard to dump RV waste anywhere near where pets play because of the smell.
We paid our receipt inside, used the exact station Love’s engineered for campers, and kept everything contained, but I still felt awful and ended up apologizing just to keep the peace.
Should Love’s separate pet areas and RV dump amenities even further apart, or was she completely out of line complaining about sewer smells at a commercial truck stop? Would you have apologized, or told her to mind her business?
