Flowers made by my youngest artists! This lesson took two thirty minute classes. The flowers were made on 9x12 mixed media paper and cut out and glued to 9x12 construction paper. The paper for the frames was 10x13 construction paper. #arteducation #artteacher #artlessons #primaryart #education

This all about you identity wall is always a winner! Even my wiggliest fifth graders enjoy this one. ✅messy ✅fun ✅shares about their interests These sponges are so easy to cut. You can search for cellulose sponges and these come vacuum packed and dried out. We use liquid tempera to paint the brick walls, chalk and pastels for the textures, and collage elements too. Stop tracing circles… teach this instead ✂️ We turn a square into a circle by: ⭐ Folding the corners ⭐ Snipping the triangles ⭐ Giving it a tiny “baby haircut” I introduce this in kindergarten and reuse it every year, it’s simple, repeatable, and builds real cutting confidence.
