Attended the Town of Gypsum 2026 Community Outlook meeting and it’s always great to hear updates about where our community is headed. Conversations about growth, infrastructure, housing, and long-term planning are important as Gypsum continues to evolve. Staying informed and engaged helps all of us understand the opportunities and challenges ahead. Thank you to the town leadership and staff who work every day to keep Gypsum moving forward. The Idaho Community Foundation made the first Supportive Housing Investment Fund grant, and I was able to share this update with the Capital City Kiwanis Club at their recent meeting. It was great to share city updates and hear about the work the club is doing within our community.

It's a busy month! 📣 Here are a few key events you don't want to miss! 3rd Annual Trails Challenge - Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Quality of Life Initiative. Opens March 28. For more information, go to carsoncity.gov/ccpr Also, Health and Human Services is partnering with local businesses to host a Carson City Job Fair. 🗓️ Date: March 27, 2026 🕒 Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Employer set-up starts at 2:00 PM) 📍 Location: Carson City Community Center, 851 E. Williams Street, Carson City, NV 89701 👏Lastly, help the City set priorities by filling out the strategic plan survey! The Strategic Plan helps the City set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working towards common goals. We’re grateful to be part of important conversations around tax policy, state budget priorities, and issues that directly impact housing and families in Northern Utah.
