Why is it so easy for people to see the injustice when it’s a movie but can’t seem to open their eyes when it’s happening right in front of them!? I know it feels pointless sharing our silly art rn, but the world NEEDS it now more than ever! Our joy that comes with creating our cute little art is our resistance, and we can’t let them take that away 🫶🏽 Art will always be inherently political. You can find helpful resources in my reshare tab 🙏🏽 Continue to lean into your community, check on your neighbors, your Tios, your Tias. Community is all we truly have. #chingalamigra #latinaartist

It doesn’t matter who the president is or has been. Borders have failed every nation impacted by them and folks are still migrating, being detained and separated from their families on stolen land. Via @theluzmedia - “Las Patronas is a group of women in Mexico who, for 28 years, have provided food, water, and other assistance to Central American migrants traveling on the freight train known as “La Bestia.” Their name comes from their town, but for the migrants, who grab potentially life-saving food and water from women they will in all liklihood never see again, “patron saint” couldn’t be more perfect of a name.” We must fight for those who deserve our support, however we can. If our grandmas can do it, so can we. Video: @mevale_1 #PresidentsDay #NoWallsNoBorders #FamiliesBelongTogether #ChingaLaMigra

As we watch more and more kids get taken by ICE, it’s important to remeber and honor those who have already passed in ICE custody. There are over 3,800 children locked up in ICE concentration camps (calling it what they are). We must act before that number goes up #abolishice #fuckICE #chingalamigra Mariee Juarez. 19 Months.
