Added a few extra letters to the end of the name today! • Surreal to think this has been 6 years in the making but I can officially call myself a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics! • Can’t wait to continue learning and growing with my athletes! 💜💪🏼 #cssd #cpsda #sportsdietitian

CPSDA Conference recap🎤 When I first joined CPSDA (Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association) years ago, I felt pretty out of place. I worked with college and professional athletes, but I wasn’t a full-time sports RD for a university or pro sports team, nor did I have any desire to be! Fast forward a decade later to today, and the environment has changed SO much. The number of sports dietitians pursuing private practice is growing immensely. They had two entrepreneurs up there (🙋🏽‍♀️ and @kellyjonesrd) presenting, and we along with 3 other incredible private practice RDs helped develop their new special interest group for Entrepreneurs.🥹🙌🏽 If you’re an aspiring sports nutrition entrepreneur, Kelly Jones and I are launching a completely updated, self-paced version of our course on June 10th, and we’d love to have you join us. While you do not have to be a dietitian to take the course (and we’ve had students who aren’t!), it has been approved for 19 CEUs for RDs!👏🏽 Click the link in my bio to learn more and join the waitlist!🤍 #sportsnutrition #sportsdietitian #sportsrd #dieteticintern #nutritionstudent #sportsnutritionist #CPSDA2024

CPSDA Student Member Spotlight ✨ Check out the student member spotlight this month! Each month we feature a new CPSDA student member(s) to learn about their experiences in the field. This month we are featuring Michelle Naragon and LaJardé Johnson, who are Powerade Performance Nutrition Fellows at Louisiana State University. "I’m a graduate of LSU, and I’ve always felt called to pursue a career in sports nutrition, so joining the staff at LSU seemed like a natural fit, however, I did not take the traditional route. I initially started volunteering with LSU Performance Nutrition in January 2022, while working as a clinical/foodservice RD, and was fortunate to be able to make the transition to sports full-time as a fellow in September 2022."- LaJardé Johnson See more about their stories in the spotlight video! @michellenaragonnn @thepreferredrd

@intuitive.fueling hosted a Cooking class for the TAMUCC Islanders Women Basketball team. 🍲 The “Best Post-workout Bowl” competition ended in a tie and everyone left the class knowing more about putting together a well balanced plate, while keeping it colorful and tasteful. • • • • #SportsMedBros #IntuitiveFueling #SportsNutrition #SportsDietitian #CPSDA #CookingClass #FuelingChampions #MyPlate #PostWorkout #SportsMedicine #GoIslanders #TAMUCC #NCAAD1 #CollegeSports #fyp
