A. The 3 layer study rule
Layer 1: Formula memory (30%)
Derivatives, integrals, limit rules, chain rule, product rule.
Write them on one or two pages and read them before sleep and after waking.
Layer 2: Exam level problems (50%)
Skip the textbook warm ups. Go straight to exam difficulty.
Stuck?
Look at the solution, close it, rewrite it yourself.
The goal is to recognise which technique to reach for before you finish reading the question.
Layer 3: Conceptual understanding (20%)
Know what a derivative actually means physically.
Know what an integral is actually computing.
Examiners punish students who know the steps but not the concept.
B. The 45 minute daily routine
15 min: Rule and formula revision
