Meet Nicole & Kevin of @arborandanchor
Arbor and Anchor is a family owned small shop located in Toronto, Ontario. Their long term goal is to provide children with quality, long lasting and sustainable toys that are both educational and spark imagination and creativity.
All of their toys are made and designed by hand, (without the use of CNCs or laser machines). They use locally sourced hardwoods like Maple, Cherry, and Walnut and finish the toys with a mineral oil, carnauba, and beeswax finish to bring out the natural colours of the wood. They do not use stains or dyes, and all painted items are painted by hand using non-toxic water based acrylic paints and a natural wood finish.
