#ChasingStars
This is one of Germanyβs very best restaurants π©πͺβοΈβοΈβοΈ
For the final Chasing Stars episode of 2025, I returned to a place that means more to me than most: @christoph_rueffer_haerlin Haerlin in @fairmont_hotelvierjahreszeiten Hamburg.
Not just because it finally received its third Michelin star this year, but because this is where I started this account two years ago, on December 3rd, 2023.
Back then, I wrote that Haerlin was the epitome of classical fine dining: respectful of the past, yet looking firmly toward the future. A restaurant worth travelling for.
Since then, Chef Christoph RΓΌffer has continued the same quiet pursuit of improvement, day by day, year by year until, in June, Haerlin earned the highest recognition a restaurant can receive, joining just 12 restaurants in Germany and around 150 worldwide to hold three stars.
The cuisine is product-driven, light and elegant yet powerful, while the service, led by Restaurant Manager Marius JΓΌrke @j.marius_ embodies true FingerspitzengefΓΌhl: intuitive, precise, and deeply human.
To me, Haerlin is the quintessence of German elegance. Understated. Methodical. Crafted with care. Never loud, never chasing attention.
Like a Mercedes-Benz S-Class: itβs timeless, reliable, and quietly exceptional.
See you next year; thank you for the support!π«Άπ«‘

What a journey it has been! Training for moments like this. To be selected as one of the ambassadors for @shokzusa to support their new program Chasing Stars. Heading into Boston this week makes me super excited for the new gear and the upcoming race. These headphones are amazing and Boston is one of those surreal experiences that I will cherish for the rest of my life. 7 days until we toe the line for marathon number 7. See you at the finish line. π
If you have a desire to run a world major this year. Apply for the upcoming races.

The streets of Boston have a lot to sayπ¦
We caught up with the community along the course to capture the raw energy of the day. From the first mile jitters to the Boylston Street hype the heart of this city never fails to inspire.

Running, for Eilish, is not just racing.
Itβs headspace.
Itβs nature.
Itβs the feeling of being outside and fully in your body.
Her best advice? Donβt let the atmosphere take over your pacing in the first half. Run your own race first. Then once youβre through Tower Bridge, let yourself enjoy more of it.
The biggest goals in running take time. Thatβs exactly why they mean so much when you get there.

She has already broken records.
Already stood in big moments.
Already chased the kind of goals people recognize from the outside.
But this story is about something else.
Eilish McColgan shares a side of Chasing Stars that feels deeply personal. After reaching great heights, she found herself in a quieter chapter β one that asked her not to chase harder, but to begin again with honesty, patience, and perspective.

Boston is so soon!!! I donβt know about you, but I always feel so inspired watching the runners cross the finish line on marathon Monday. Watching runners achieve their dreams will never get old.
@shokzusa is an official sponsor of the Boston Marathon and to celebrate they have a limited edition Boston Marathon headphone: OpenRun Pro 2 Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America Co-branded edition (my favorite version of Shokz)
If you are running Boston, be sure to stop by the expo! Good luck and have fun!

3 years ago, running 10km felt impossible. I started running in residency to decompress and find steadiness when medicine felt overwhelming. Running became consistent space to breathe, find peace, and build confidence. Never in a million years did I think Iβd call myself a marathoner. A Boston Marathon qualifier. An endurance athlete.
Toeing the line next week isnβt just about the months of training behind the scenes, it represents all the difficult workouts, 5am alarms, and sacrifices it took to get here. It represents the ability to break free of who we once defined ourselves to be, and proof that we can be multifaceted humans.
What makes this even more special is partnering with @shokzusa @shokzcanada to share my journey on the most iconic stage in this sport.
Follow along my Boston Marathon journey as I chase the @wmmajors βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

What keeps an athlete going after a major win?
For Hellen Obiri, success has never been a reason to slow down. When she won the 2023 Boston Marathon β her first marathon victory and only her second Abbott World Marathon Majors race β it did not make her complacent. It pushed her to want even more.
In this interview, Hellen shares her perspective on pursuing victory and continuing to improve. For her, the journey is defined by that constant feeling of being close, but not yet finished. Close to the next level. Close to a better time. Close to something bigger still.
