What’s his is mine…what’s mine is mine.🤷🏻♀️ I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, which meant our family lived off Kev’s single income. I always found it comical when I’d pay for something and Kev would say “thanks.” After all, I was spending money he had earned! Looking back, I’ve come to appreciate the sentiment. Kev’s language was a reflection of his belief that I was an equal contributor to our family and therefore had equal ownership over his income. We worked as a team and everything was shared. We’re a dual income family now and Kev’s attitude hasn’t changed. We’re still a team and work toward a common goal. I just prefer not to share my lip balms. 😜
